This is actually one of my favorite products from oxo. The design itself is amazing. The little clip for the stone to soften the brown sugar was definitely well thought out. It’s easy to assemble and I like that i don’t have it mixed in with the sugar. Also how all these containers stack and there are so many different options makes it easy to organize any pantry. I’m am already planning on replacing all of my other containers as well as gifting a set to my mother.

This container works well with brown sugar but would also work for other ingredients or snacks. It comes with a brown sugar saver, which is a disk that you soak in water and it helps soften hardened brown sugar, so that is what I used it for.The lid is slightly different from my other POP containers. I am not sure if that is just due to the brown sugar saver or if all new containers will have a slimmer profile.

I use this container for a variety of opened packages in my pantry. Obviously one product at a time depending on what I have open. The size is great for leftover crackers and cookies. I like that it’s see through, so I know what’s in there and should be eaten. The seal is great for keeping things fresh. I like the idea of it being good for brown sugar. I haven’t tested the disk to see that it helps keep the sugar soft, but I trust Oxo as I think the design great products. The push button top is easy to use. I think this style of container will be my go to in a variety of sizes.

I’d been searching for a salt box with a secure lid for my countertop and this container is the perfect solution. Not only is it easy open and convenient, it’s survived a couple of sneak attacks by my bad kitty who likes to jump on my counters. It also cleans very easily, too. Highly recommend.

I have struggled with brown sugar packages for years: ziplock closures clogged with sugar, shoving bread slices into the bag to prevent hardening, and ultimately putting the whole mess into a larger ziplock bag. This OXO container easily solved that problem. It’s the perfect size for typical package of brown sugar AND the brown sugar keeper disc let’s me keep it fresh without using any more bread. Just soak it in water a few minutes and it’s ready. It easily attaches to the top of the container and, Voila!
