I love OXO products and have been using them for many years from big items(like coffee makers) to now something as small and simple as salt and peppers shakers. It’s the small details that make a difference like the easy screw on/ off lids,different sized holes for each condiment and the little spout that flips out if you need to pour out some. The container is made of a clear high quality plastic that can be easily cleaned if dirty and the holes for shaking the bottle onto foods are large enough for nothing to get blocked. It is a simple and timeless design that will fit into any decor and will function for many years.

We used these salt and pepper shakers for about 2 years and loved them. Then I started noticing little black flakes in my salt. So I threw the salt away and tried again. Turns out the black specks are bits of plastic from the lids. After cleaning the lids carefully, the problem remained. So I can’t recommend using them, unless you like plastic as a part of your diet!!!!

I like these salt and pepper shakers. They aren’t for fine dining, but for everyday use, they’re great. If you have a crowd over, they look fine on the table. I like how easy they are to fill by removing the tops. Also, there’s a chute-like lever that opens near the top to pour the contents out if you’re making something that needs a big dose of seasoning. I’ve never seen this feature before, but think it will be useful. The glass is hefty and they look built to last.

These look kind of like diner or industrial salt and pepper shakers. They have a nice weight to them. You can shake the salt or pepper from the top or measure out the spices through a little spout on the side of the dispenser, which is a very nice feature. I know they are durable because my daughter dropped them on our tiled kitchen floor as she was unpacking them and they did not break! I only gave them 4 stars for quality because I would prefer the clear bases to be glass and not plastic.

The Good Grips Salt and Pepper Shakers are a great set. Very sleek and modern looking and easy to grip. They have a very handy pour spout on the side for using when cooking. Brilliant idea! They look nice sitting on the counter near the stove and also elegant enough to go to the table for a meal. It is just what I have been looking for. They are clear plastic so that if the grand kids drop them, i do not have to worry about the danger of breaking glass. The clear material lets me know when it is time to refill. I like knowing that these are guaranteed, so if there is a problem, I know it will get corrected.

Good Grips Salt & Pepper Shaker Set is a super pick! These shakers have a good quality feel and look. Made of plastic, but feels like glass. The easy use pour spout feature is a special option. Works well with a easy push to open and close. I did notice by the packaging picture that you put salt in the shaker with less holes and pepper in the shaker with more holes. These holes are larger so the flow is easy and can be rapid. Always a good buy with OXO Good Grips products!

I really like these slim line shakers. They are super modern which works perfect in my new kitchen. They are different than any salt and pepper shakers I’ve ever had.They hold a lot more salt and pepper due to the design of the tops and they also have pour spouts built into the tops that allow you to pour into measuring spoons for recipes which I have never seen before. Would highly recommend.

I go to the kitchen supply store in the mall to keep up to date on latest cooking items but I missed these I’m glad it caught my eye on the flip door on these for of cooking .I ve been using the matching salt and peper from our place setting now I don’t have to chase them down any more I.I love that these are glass ez to see which is which and they stay in the kitchen when I need more salt or peperb just flip the door and pour !! You will love these !!

These are attractive and functional salt and pepper shakers. They’re glass, so you can see what is in each one and how much — you won’t inadvertently apply pepper when you want salt. The body is glass, not plastic, so you can scrub it, and it won’t yellow. The tops are stainless and won’t rust. Each shaker has a side spout for pouring, and it’s secure and unobtrusive so that it won’t be accidentally opened. The stainless tops have a plastic escutcheon which twists off. The salt shaker has sixteen holes, and the pepper shaker has six holes of the same size, an appropriate ratio. The shakers each hold 1/4 cup, a good quantity so you won’t have to refill often. These shakers are attractive and functional.

These salt and pepper shakers are pretty handy, They can be used to either season the food or for use in baking . I was pretty impressed with the way the shake and the pour feature was integrated together.The plastic construction is very good and makes it a very sturdy and reliable product. The shaker holes are spced well and the onlt trouble is you have to watch the salt because it does come out fast. I gave a 5 rating and a definite purchase worthy.

Nice salt and pepper shakers!These arrived promptly and were well packed to avoid damage. They appear to be glass (when I tap them together) and the lids appear to be metal. They are slightly slimmer than a regular salt and pepper shaker which makes them look a bit more elegant. Easy to fill and the lids thread on easily. The side spout (plastic) makes it easy to get plenty of salt/pepper when needed for cooking.

I own many products from the OXO line and they all are GREAT. This item is no exception. It has such a simplistic look but yet so functional. They are a nice size and weight are are a snap to fill. There is a little lever on the side which allows you to use a small pour spout. The clear container allows you to view what’s inside. I have experienced clogging of the shaker top but it’s from the week of rain and high humidity.that we are having here in the northeast. Overall another great OXO product…

This shaker set is such a great idea as it has a spout that allows one to pour out salt or pepper when cooking or baking. Sprinkling salt and pepper is easy to do and the holes allow a nice amount to be sprinkled. They are sharp looking and I can’t say enough about the side pouring spout being a baker this is suck a time saver when baking I didn’t have to get out the large salt container while making cookies. Love this feature.

Very nice design and easy to use. The slickest feature of these shakers is the pour spout in the side of the heads of the shakers. A simple press causes a pour spout to emerge from the side of the shaker’s head, making it easy to measure, for example, a 1/4 teaspoon of salt or pepper, or to add substantial amounts of spice to, for example, a large pot of soup or chili. Super convenient and much easier than shaking forever or unscrewing the lid of old-fashioned shakers to pour contents, or opening the cabinet to pull out the box of salt or box of pepper. The pour spout has very smooth and positive release and return locking positions. This size is easy to hold and glass is thick and, of course, allows seeing whether refilling is needed. Much better than the large shakers I have used before. I keep these next to the stove for now but I expect to put them on table when we have guests over.
