Great. Works as described. Looks good on the kitchen counter. It does use a decent amount of ground coffee (like all cold brew makers) so be aware. I like that this one brews outside the fridge so it doesn’t take up valuable space. Taste is bold (in a good way). Best reviewed on wirecutter.

very simple. requires a *lot* of ground coffee, but that’s okay because it makes enough to last easily a week (and it keeps nicely too). love it!

This coffee maker works great and I’ve used it to successfully make 4 batches of cold brew so far. I originally found this cold brew coffee maker through a recommendation from the Wirecutter.

Made great strong tasty coffee! Yum. Rich coffee flavor without being harsh. When made as directed it yields 12-14 servings, however if you like your beverage stronger, use more more concentrate in your cup or glass before you add your milk, water or ice. Use your imagination, add hot or cold liquids. The directions are very very simple to understand, and set up is easy. It comes with a screen filter along with little round (optional) paper filters to use in addition. However, we used the paper filter and it seemed to clog up quickly, so we are going to try only using the screen the next time. Steep time takes 12-24 hours or overnight.

Excellent cold brew maker—thoughtfully designed with small features that make a big difference (e.g. the carafe lid doubles as a measuring cup and has a silicone seal so you can store it directly in the fridge. also, the entire unit stacks inside itself for storage).

I love it. Have used the Filtron system for many years and this one is so much better

Makes good cold brew concentrate. It seems the easiest to use among the other concentrate makers. If you have a good grinder like the Baratza Encore with a course setting, you won’t need the paper filters to keep sediment out. My only complaint is that it leaks a little coffee out prematurely while brewing sometimes even when very tight.

This OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker is so easy to use and makes DELICIOUS cold brew coffee and tea too! As always, the OXO brand makes a fantastic quality item that is so user friendly. Everything you need comes in the box, including paper filters that are optional. I chose to use one. I can’t believe how fast and simple the whole brewing procedure is and what an amazing end result. BETTER than any coffee shop could give you. This unit looks very attractive on your counter; very pretty. You can use the concentrate for cold or hot. Everything fits together easily and this also makes cleaning very easy. The whole process is really quick. I weighed my coffee grounds, put them in the container, added water and let sit for 24 hours. Simply place the beaker underneath, push the lever and let it drain. The stopper/cover for the beaker is also used to measure out your concentrate. Really delicious and rich tasting concentrate. I have served it to 6 people including myself and we all LOVE IT!! This OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker is not only a wonderful thing for yourself but makes a great gift for the coffee lovers in your life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

This is a great way to make cold brew coffee at home. We bought one months ago after I did research cold brew makers and have been very happy with this brand. We bought this one as a gift for friends who enjoy the coffee when they visit. The storage container that comes with it holds 32oz of coffee for like 2 weeks in the fridge. However, we go through that in like 2 days. To make the hot coffee just add a bit of water then microwave it and enjoy it hot…It can also be used for tea.

Fantastic cold brew infuser. I’ve made cold brew in other kits this is by far the easiest. The dispensing spout and built in screen make straining and cleaning really easy. Its pricey but totally worth the money

Meet my new favorite summertime coffeemaker! It takes well over 12 hours to make flavorful strong cold brew, and it also takes a LOT of grounds, but the results are worth it. Here’s how it works: (1) follow the instructions regarding the amount of grounds, (2) put the grounds in the top and then fill with cold water, (3) allow the grounds to steep for 12-24 hours (I prefer closer to 24 than 12), (4) then use the lever to drain the water into the included carafe (allow it to drain for several hours if you want to get ALL of the black gold), and (5) finally dilute the resulting concentrated cold coffee with either cold water (for iced coffee) or hot water (for an Americano or other hot coffee drink). The beaker-style carafe comes with a stopped that seals well for storage in the refrigerator (which you’ll need if you make a full batch and don’t invite the whole neighborhood over immediately – the concentrate makes a LOT of coffee!). I use about 1/4 cup of the concentrated brew per cup of iced or hot coffee. I start with good beans, and this method makes a more flavorful cup of coffee than standard drip. My only misgiving about this unit is that it is a bit of a pain to clean – but it’s worth it because the amount of concentrate from each batch lasts me for several days.

This is a pretty simple device and concept, but boy does it make some good coffee. I have another cold brew coffee maker that is a similar concept, but it has a central cylinder for the coffee grounds that sits in a pitcher of water, and the water never seems to completely penetrate to the center of the grounds. By contrast, this one lets the water sit in the grounds to brew, then when finished, you release a valve to let it drain into the carafe. The rainshower lid, another simple but effective concept, makes it very easy to get an even distribution of water throughout the grounds. Note that this is going to bring out the flavor of your coffee quite a bit more than standard brewing, so if your coffee is low quality or stale, you’re probably going to taste it, so high quality, fresh coffee is best.

My son introduced me to DIY cold brew last year and I thought I’d get my own system just in case he actually moves out someday! Actually, I wanted to compare the 2 systems and I love all the “Good Grips” products I have so far. I like that this system allows you to pause the decanting of the brew, just in case you get desperate for caffeine before it’s done. I really love that I don’t need to buy replacement filters – that is a BIG plus! Storing the components when not in use takes less space than his system. This unit does make a slightly smaller batch of coffee concentrate than my son’s – I only got about 22 oz. from the first batch. Of course, the coffee we use is not as coarsely ground as it probably should be, but we like what we like. I’m looking forward to trying this for tea next.
