Durable, quality product that is likely to last forever (I’ve only had it 1 month at time of this review). Looks nice and cleans up easily. Would give 5 stars but the handle gets too hot to grab with bare hand even though it’s silicone coated.

I like the Good Grips Classic 6.8-Cup Brushed Stainless Steel Tea Kettle. The handle moves for easy filling. The handle and spout-cap has a coll touch point on the top and bottom for opening to pour.My wife says it’s too small but not to me. You’ll get 4 12oz cups once filled. One word of caution as with most kettles, if you refill it when hot make sure you wear a mitt.

This is a high quality, sturdy, tea pot. I am sure it will last for years. The handle, spout, and lid knob are made out of special material that don’t get as hot as the rest of the pot which makes it easy to handle/maneuver a hot pot. The whistling when the water is ready is the main feature and it works well (see attached video of the pot whistling). If you don’t want the pot to whistle you can simply open the spout lid and you will not get any whistling.

This is nice full sized stove top style tea kettle – perfect for making a full pot of tea for your family or guests. The handle can be picked up without a pot holder, which is so much better than the designer kettles that you can’t pick up without burning yourself. It looks great, and heats up fast – very nice for any classic or modern kitchen and blends nicely with stainless appliances

Perfect size, not a burn threat.

Good kettle, not excellent. Does the job. Even with the silicone grip handle, the handle is a little too hot to grip after heating the water. And the silicone on top of the spout is too small to open it for pouring without being extra careful. Under the spout siilicone for closing the spout is even worse; very small and easy to get burned if not careful. Otherwise, it’s a good tea kettle and looks good. Handy fold down handle. I’d give it three and a half stars if possible. Also, it’s a bit pricey.

Looks and works as advertised. We’ve had none of the problems that some others have described, but we follow the instructions as far as the fill level is concerned. That’s enough to make coffee in a “4-cup” french press for my husband (just over 2x a 12 oz mug) as well as a teapot providing about the same amount of tea for me. We love the fold down handle and the overall quality of the kettle is great!

This teakettle is light, attractive and heats up quickly on electric stove. Love the feature of the moveable handle which makes filling easy.

This is a very nice and stylish tea kettle. Like all tea kettles, the water can only be added to a predetermined level in order for it to whistle. If too much water is added above that level it does not whistle but gurgles. I have a nice porcelain kettle also that I have owed for some years. This one is much more stylish and the whistle noise is quite nice. See the video for a better view. We will be getting rid of the old porcelain one and replacing it with this one.

The rubber handle means you don’t have to search for a potholder or gloves to handle this tea kettle! I love the high quality of the Good Grips collection. My cooktop is glass and requires stainless steel – you have to be careful if you have a glass cooktop, aluminum can mar your glass cooktops. This tea kettle works for glass cooktops. My husband uses it to boil the water for his pour-over coffees. I love the sound of the whistle!!

I wanted stainless steel because of rusting issues with previous kettles. This one seems surprisingly lightweight, almost “tinny”. Pros: It looks nice, heats water quickly, and feels well balanced. The whistle is loud enough, the handle bends down out of the way for easy filling, and the handle has never felt too hot to touch. Cons: The kettle is rather large compared to the quantity of water you can heat – you can only fill it to the bottom of the spout. You have to remember to tap the whistle/cover back into place, or the pot may boil dry without whistling. And you have to pour slowly to avoid having water gush and splatter. All in all, I’d buy it again.

We love our new beautiful brushed Stainless Steel Tea Kettle. It has a nice stylish design and gives our kitchen an updated look. We had our old one for 20 years and tea wasn’t tasting the same because of corrosion build up on the bottom. What a difference in the taste of our tea with this tea kettle. We won’t wait 20 years for the next tea kettle.

This OXO Classic Tea Kettle in Brushed Stainless Steel is really beautiful and of Excellent quality! The finish is stunning and the shape and style are simply gorgeous. It has a nice soft whistle. No drip or dribble when pouring. When you remove the lid, the opening is large and wide which makes cleaning easy and seeing inside easy. The handle stays cool to the touch. I didn’t know I could love a tea kettle so much. Highly recommend!

The whistle kind of fluctuates a little but it is still quite loud which is what we wanted. Also, I do like the high handle to keep from getting my hand hot when I pick it up.
