This coffee bean grinder is a high quality machine. The one touch button for grinding is super convenient. I used the recommended “10” setting for my first grind and it was almost exactly how much I needed for a pot of coffee. Turning it up to “10.1” is perfect. The multiple dial settings should enable anyone to make a perfect cup or pot of coffee.

My husband and I have been using this grinder for a few weeks now. Love the look of the grinder and the anti-static container. It’s also slightly quieter than our current conical burr grinder. However, we won’t be able to make the permanent switch to this OXO one because even on the finest grind setting, it’s not fine enough for our particular espresso machine. And it seems to be the most minuscule difference because when I look at the grounds, they look the same from both grinders but then when the coffee is actually made – the water runs through the OXO “fine” grounds like a sieve. We also have a pour-over cone and aero press and were able to grind beans for those brewing methods that worked perfectly! So, it appears to be a great grinder – just won’t be the best one for us.

Great service and delivery time from Home Depot. The product works very well and is recommended amongst numerous online reviews that I looked at before making the purchase.

The Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is finally a REAL grinder. We actually got it for grinding various spices. It would great for this as it can be disassembled and cleaned when switching from on spice to another. It’s a little loud but of course it is grinding up some hard stuff. Based on the spice seeds and beans used so far, I suspect it will also work well on coffee beans.

Got my OXO Conical Burr Coffee grinder the other day, and immediately ground up some fresh beans for the next mornings coffee. I’m from the old school, I like to grind my own coffee beans. I find that there is a learning curve with this grinder. I had to put the setting to 12 to get the desired grind on my beans. I thought the Medium grind was too fine for drip coffee. The only real con that I found was the timer only stays on for 30 seconds, which is not long enough to get the full Bean hopper ground. I store my coffee in an OXO air-tight canister.

super simple and relatively quiet. I think it works as well if not better than my Breville for much less money. Does not leave a mess either.

This OXO coffee grinder has so many choices; forty-three to be exact. The hopper holds a pound of beans for handy storage. I like a variety of bold brews, so I have been given a dream machine. The user can fine tune grinds to suit his/her taste buds from espresso to French press. Nailed an excellent grind on the first attempt. Connoisseurs rejoice!

The coffee grinder is easy to set up in that it is ready to go out of the box after removing the plastic. Getting ready to grind coffee is intuitive with the ground size selector clearly marked at the bottom of the coffee bean hopper. I filled the hopper up with fresh beans (holds a max of 3/4 pound) and moved the dial to #13 for my French press. The grinder has either a manual setting or an automatic timer that will grind for up to 30 seconds. I tried manual control at first, and while it worked fine, the speed of the grind felt somewhat slow. I then set the automatic timer to the max 30 seconds setting. The machine preformed well, taking 4 pushes of the 30 seconds timed grinding to get through my beans on the #13 setting, or 2 minutes total. The grounds are deposited into a stainless-steel cup with a lid that does a good job but it did begin to rattle outwards after a few seconds; you may have coffee grounds all over the countertop if you’re not pushing it back in place once or twice- in other words, don’t wander off during your automatic grinding. I repeated the process again with a second batch. This time, half way through the first thirty seconds, a bean got stuck and prevented the other beans on top of it from falling into the grinders. I was able to quickly figure out how to remedy (hint: there is a lock/unlock pillar in the hopper that you turn to the right and back a few times and in unclogs the bean) and was back to grinding my coffee. Overall it was a quick and painless experience for grinding coffee. The only concern I have is that the cup for the grounds is apt to move around too much during grinding and could potentially make a mess if you were not prepared for it to do so. Other that relatively small, but annoying, issue, this is a great burr grinder that is easy to use and clean.

Easy to use. Nice product. I found clean-up simple. The grind options are so varied as to provide confidence one ends up with the exact grounds wanted. No surprises.

I researched grinders and identified this Oxo burr grinder as the one I wanted. I don’t need a scale, or programming options. Just a good quality grinder. Got a discount at Home Depot, fast delivery. So far very impressed. Simple setup and startup. Grinder runs much quieter than my last one, doesn’t wake up the house. The grinding timer maxes at 30 seconds, which is not enough for a full pot. But I typically make a half pot, so 25 seconds works. Grounds do not stick to the inside of the receptacle; they pour out nicely (with some tapping). No more mess, very clean and quick. I have had this grinder for 2 months, so haven’t had to clean it yet. Perfect grinder for my needs,

We have had ours for over a year now and I can say it grinds just as we would expect. It really is not a 5 star unit, that is an honest statement for these two main reasons.1. Coffee becomes impacted and does not release, this has happened twice in the past year so not a deal breaker but I expected better.2. Messy, the coffee trap door does not capture all the coffee grinds, the lower cup below must be taken out regularly and grinds have to be cleaned out behind it, if not eventually the grinds build up and push the lower cup further away from the unit and the mess goes from bad to worse. Again, not a deal breaker but you would expect a tighter fit to the lower cup to catch 100% of the grinds all the time, but that is not the case.
