The OXO conical coffee bean grinder is the best bean grinder I’ve ever used by far. The OXO grinder isn’t wimpy either! At nearly 17 inches in height, the grinder is almost as big as my 12 cup coffee brewer.I selected the OXO because of it’s reputation of quality products and I’m tired of inconsistent grind of blade type grinders. The bean hopper easily removes so that remaining coffee beans can be poured back into the bag. The hopper holds more than enough beans for 12 cup coffee maker.Features I like about the OXO:-sure footed design. The grinder has a well designed based and stays put regardless of the grind setting.-simple operation. Simply set the grind level, set the time (length run-time of the grinder), push the button and let go. No holding down, no shaking required!-easy to clean! The hopper separates, the burr grinder separates, the collector separates; all make it extremely easy to clean the grinder.-quiet, strong motor. Because of the DC motor, the grinder is quieter and stronger. It doesn’t bog down at any grind setting.-consistent grind. From very fine setting to the coarsest setting – the grounds are consistent. The only cons:-the collection cup is made of stainless steel which reduces some of the static cling of the grinds. I still had a lot of static but not nearly as much as I had with other grinders. I don’t believe there is any way to completely eliminate the static cling of grinds.-grinds tend to collect in the discharge chute. Once the collector cup is removed grinds still drop from the chute. I found that the finer the grind the more grounds tend to collect. Repetitive tapping of the grinder kept producing coffee bean ground fall-out. Again, this is an inherent issue with coffee grounds and humidity. Even commercial grade drop grinders experience this.I love freshly ground beans and I love the performance of the OXO grinder. I’m back to buying whole bean roasted coffee thanks to the OXO!!

Works very well, uniform grind and easy to use. Doesn’t seem to jam as much as my previous grinder. Hope this continues to be the case.

This well-designed machine produces an even grind quietly, and is easy to clean. I cannot yet assess its durability.

I also ‘believe crafting coffee is a ritual worth savoring and that making things easier doesn’t have to mean sacrificing quality’. That being said here’s a ‘Conical Burr Coffee Grinder, with a simple, intuitive design delivering consistent grinds no matter how you choose to brew’. Where do we start after that ?, The durable, 40 mm conical burrs, Choosing from 43 grind size settings: espresso to French press or cold brew. It’s integrated timer that keeps your last setting, just press to grind, a Powerful DC motor that’s quiet with Overheating protection. UV-blocking tint Large capacity hopper (16 oz.). I could go on, but simply put, if you enjoy coffee as it should be, full of body with all the fragrance and undertones you have to start with fresh ground – ground the right way with a conical burr grinder for consistent grinds.

I once had a grinder that cost $650. That was twenty years ago. This grinder is just about as good! It’s the best per-dollar value I have ever purchased on line — or off!

I use a French Press to make coffee and I’ve always hated the sludge that’s left behind in the cup. I’d previously used a regular blade coffee grinder set on the coarsest setting. This burr grinder is worlds better than a blade grinder! The sludge is eliminated! The OXO burr grinder is pretty quiet for what it does. The canister the coffee is ground into has a good capacity if you want to grind beans in bulk for multiple pots, but it’s convenient to be able to fill the hopper with beans and have a fresh grind right before you brew. It takes a bit of experimentation to get the exact coarseness and volume of coffee you want, especially since the volume of beans is ground based on a length of time instead of cup measurement. Once it’s nailed down though, I couldn’t be happier with the results. The coffee is evenly ground and therefore makes a great brew.

This replaces a burr coffee grinder and has features that are definitely an improvement. I find that after grinding the beans my counter is clean without any trace of coffee. The dial from fine to course is clearly marked without any guessing game. The one touch timer dial speeds the grinding of the beans and makes grinding a quick and easy task. The design is an attractive addition to my small appliances.

This has improved my Wife and I’s coffee routine tenfold! We bought one of these for my in-laws and after hearing how much they loved it, and how much better fresh ground coffee tastes, we were super excited to have one for ourselves.Super easy to setup and use! Adjust the fineness of the grind, put the beans in, set how long you want to grind, and go! Numerous options to get the perfect grind you want, every time. Makes it super easy if you brew your coffee using different methods as well as you can adjust the grind for this as well. This has been a much needed and much welcomed addition to our kitchen countertop, and is now a morning staple!

It’s as good as they say it is. Grinds coarse enough for my cold press and for the French press. As an added bonus, it’s quiet! Love it!
