The OXO Good Grip Non-Stick 12 in. Open Frypan is a great pan. The aluminum body distributes the heat evenly, so that your meat doesn’t burn in the center and is raw on the edges.The non-stick coating works well and doesn’t seem to scratch as easily as Teflon coatings do. I still recommend to only use wooden or plastic utensils in the pan.The handle is well insulated and stays cool to the touch.

This is an awesome non stick pan. I tested it on a grilled cheese sandwich. Typically when I make grilled cheese sandwiches I give the pan a quick spray then I put down my buttered bread with cheese. For this first use I decided to not spray the pan and just use the butter on the bread. The bread lifted with no sticking whatsoever. I also tested this pan on eggs with cooking spray and when the eggs were finished they could literally slide all over the pan. The pan is light weight and heats up very quickly. I will definitely make this my pan of choice in my cooking arsenal.

This is a really well-made 12 inch fry pan. I usually buy the type that come three to at set (8, 10, and 12) and those pans generally work well for a short time and get tossed fairly rapidly.This OXO pan is a different kind of pan. It has a great weight to it, has three layers of non-stick, has a sturdy stainless steel hand which covered in silicone for heat-resistance and an excellent grip. The base of the pan is hard-anodized which will work with all cook tops except induction. I use a commercial gas stove and even on lower settings, the heat which this pan conducts is pretty amazing. Because of the silicone/metal construction, the oven heat limit is noted as 390F.I’ve been using it to cook all sorts of saute from chicken to pork chops to potatoes and even sliced mushrooms. I am looking forward to using this pan for a long time to come.

This OXO open stock 12 inch skillet has a lot of features that make it an excellent choice to add to your cookware. It has good, even heat distribution with even browning, and no hot spots, a large cooking surface big enough to cook 3 or 4 slices of sandwich size bread at once, (like grilled cheese for example). The dimensions of the pan are just right for working; the sides are flared, and aren’t too high to hinder flipping, turning your food, stirring, pouring, etc… The pan is evenly balanced, where it sits flat on the burner. The weight of the pan is substantial, not too thin and lightweight, yet not overly heavy like cast iron. The non stick surface is great- nothing sticks, and that means easy cleanup. It is recommended to hand wash only as most cookware manufacturers recommend, and to cool completely before cleaning to prevent warping. The handle is attached with rivets as with all high end cookware, and has a silicone grip with a ridge on the bottom of the handle as a guide to prevent your hand from getting too close to the cooking surface.I’ve used this skillet daily since I’ve had it, with metal utensils, and the non-stick surface actually shows no signs of scratching at all. I would definitely recommend this OXO skillet if your building up your set of cookware, or wanting to add a larger type skillet to an existing set, it is an excellent choice. I do a lot of cooking, and have a lot of different types of cookware I use for certain things, and you naturally have pieces that are your favorites that get used the most, and this will be one of them that will definitely get used the most. No gimmicks, just a straightforward, highly functional tool for the cook. Five stars for quality, features and function!

The product has a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and a good rule to live by is if you see a scratch or an flaking going on, then you should pitch it and buy another one. An even better rule is to replace all non-stick pans every 5-10 years even if there are no scratches or flakes. This low price should allow anyone who purchases it, to replace it on this schedule. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone.

This is a great non-stick 12-inch frying pan. I’ve used it a number of times already for sauteeing/frying veggies as well as making omelets and all have come out great without sticking to the pan. I’ve also only had to use a small amount of oil for frying. If you’re watching your fat intake, especially when frying foods, this is a good pan to have as you don’t need much oil/butter.The stainless steel handle is covered with silicone for gripping power, and does not get hot while the pan the pan is in use. The pan I received was not perfectly round, on one side it’s sort of uneven, however, that has not affected its performance. You can even put this pan in your oven up to 350 degrees F, and it’s also very easy to clean.

This is a great frying pan! I have a few different kinds of pans and usually like the anodized aluminum best, but I have never tried this brand. I used to ti cook raw tortilla shells which is a great test because it shows you heat distribution, and this pan did not disappoint. On a gas range the distribution was even and consistent over several shells and the non stick coating worked great. It actually has a little larger cooking area than I thought it would. The only think that would be nice would be a lid, but at this price, it’s still a great value and the lid would make it more expensive.
