We just received this product, only have used it once, but it’s already my new favorite frying pan. The construction and the build are so solid. It feels so heavy duty. We have been using T-Fal frying pans for a few years, and we’re constantly having the handles come loose, so we keep a screwdriver in the kitchen to tighten them. I knew immediately opening the package this wasn’t going to have that issue. It’s not too heavy, so it’s going to be replacing the use of the cast iron for smaller meals, like breakfast. Easy to clean. Great overall. Now, I need every size.

This is quite a nice pan. Even though it has a non-stick finish, it can be washed in the dishwasher. The handle says cool while cooking, and the pan can be placed in the oven for baking to over 400 degrees. The pan is very well-crafted and feels sturdy. Importantly, it cooks nicely. I fried eggs without any butter or cooking spray and they slid right out of the pan. I’d definitely recommend it.

I am really enjoying the OXO non-stick Pro 12 inch Open Fry Pan. The surface is SO smooth and everything just slides off. The coating looks superior to others I have had. I use it all the time and love the size too. I can fit bacon and eggs in it at the same time! I am not surprised that I like this product so much because OXO makes great products. I highly recommend this product.

This is a fine frying pan. It has a great non-stick finish and a thick bottom to conduct heat well. The only down side is that it is fairly shallow. That’s good for easy access to turn food but it means that it doesn’t hold as much and food spatters easily over the edge. I was looking to replace a deeper frying pan so I’ll have to keep looking.

This is my new favorite frying pan! I usually use cast iron but this one is lighter and does a better job in the non-stick category. The best part is I can put it through the dishwasher instead of washing it by hand like cast iron. I’ve used it several times and with my gas range, it makes perfect eggs, and is really easy to control the heat as opposed to cast iron which takes time to adjust to varying heat levels. The anodized aluminum coating does a good job of keeping things from sticking and because the whole pan is aluminum, it’s light. The handle is comfortable to pick up and does not get hot (unlike cast iron). The price is a bit more than a similar sized cast iron pan but I think the benefits outweigh the cost. Due to the rolled edge, it is hard(er) to flip things in the pan without using a spatula.

I received the Non – Stick Pro 12 inch Open Fry Pan ( Model # CW000960-003 ) for review. This frying pan was delivered to me in a well packaged box in an undamaged condition. This frying pan is one of the better quality pans that I have ever bought in terms of overall construction and finish. This pan is oven friendly up to 430 Degrees and when used on the stove top has a stay cool handle. It is also dishwasher safe. This will definitely be one of my go to pans from now on.

After going through two T-fal nonstick pans in recent years, I decided to try a different brand, and the Oxo comes with a Cooks Illustrated recommendation. I’ve had the pan for 3 weeks, use it every day, and so far am pleased. I really like its feel and balance – the handle is well designed to fit comfortably in your hand, and the pan’s overall weight is sufficient to provide assurance of quality without being unwieldy. The interior is indeed slick nonstick: scrambled eggs, omelets, and even fried eggs slide out cleanly without any oil or butter, if you wish to cook that way. The exterior is hard anodized aluminum, the same material used in higher end “semi-stick” pans (Calphalon’s line, for example), which means it will clean well and will even allow for a green scratchy pad cleanup of burnt bits. I’m following the manufacturer’s instructions to heat the pan slowly on low or medium heat, rather than starting with high heat, hoping that will lengthen its life. Though it’s technically “dishwasher safe,” (all nonstick skillets now are), don’t wash this pan in the dishwasher; the harsher detergent will degrade the finish. A quick hand wash with regular manual dish liquid is all that’s needed to keep it looking brand new. A great pan, at a good price.

This is the second fry pan I own in the OXO good grips line. It is very similar to my other pan but this one has a completely different handle. It is metal and is specifically made to withstand higher temperatures (such as in an oven up to 430F) while retaining a stay-cool grip. I like this feature for such things as finishing steaks and chicken in the oven after getting a good saute from the stove top.This is a really well-made 12 inch fry pan. In the past, I have bought the inexpensive style of non-stick pan that come three to at set (8, 10, and 12.) Those use up quickly and get thrown out.This OXO pan is a different kind of pan. It has a great weight to it, has three layers of non-stick and the prior mentioned handle which is contoured for easy holding. The base of the pan is hard-anodized which will work with all cook tops except induction. I use a commercial gas stove and even on lower settings, the heat which this pan conducts is pretty amazing. In addition to the use I mentioned above, it works excellently for all forms of saute style frying. Having now experienced such a high quality non-stick product, I will never buy those inexpensive sets again. Having one or two of a better grade pan has proven to be the right choice in the end.
