This specific salad spinner is an absolutely necessary kitchen tool. We’ve only had it for a couple of months, and now we eat salads once a week versus once a month when we dine out. We like to introduce it as a 3-in-1.1. The colander dries your leafy greens with just a couple of spins no matter how much you pack inside.2. The clear bowl serves as a good size serving bowl (for at least a family of 3).3. The lid has a lock feature for storage in the refrigerator and also keeps the salad from getting stale.Not to mention that maintenance is super easy and is dishwasher safe. I’ve been complaining about watery lettuce for years. The Ozeri salad spinner was the best thing I came upon. The amount of water it manages to spin off from the washed lettuce is astonishing. It is very easy to use and one of the best salad spinners I’ve owned. It has a very sturdy design. It’s flexible but not cheap. It has a very high capacity enough to hold lettuce for a family party! I love the stop button, one of the best features i’ve seen on a salad spinner. It is very easy to clean and you can serve right out of the clear bowl.

We eat loads of salad in our house. I was impressed with this salad spinner as a friend had it. I always wanted one. The Ozeri salad spinner performs so well. This spinner makes washing and drying the lettuce so much easier and quicker. I no longer have to pat the salad dry with paper towels. You just place the lettuce colander in the spinner and close the top. Next push the lever on top three to four times and there you go dry lettuces. Simply empty the bowl out and place all the other ingredients in for your salad. You can simply place the bowl on the dinner table since its clear in design. With the clear coloring the salad spinner looks fantastic on the table. The spinner is dishwasher safe so clean up is easy. I store the leftover salad right in the spinner. The spinner has an on/off and lock button. This is a terrific asset to my kitchen. I can also use the spinner for pasta, beans and more. It’s nice and quiet. I am quite impressed with the Ozeri spinner. The quality is excellent. This is a must have for the kitchen.

This is our first salad spinner so we don’t have anything to compare it to, but we grow a lot of lettuce in our garden and thought it would be helpful since we aren’t buying a lot of prepackaged and pre-washed lettuce these days. While it is plastic, it has a heavy duty feel to it so I feel like it will hold up for a long time. The lever at the top can lock closed when not in use. To spin, you just unlock the lever and press down. There are gears that then spin the internal basket around. It works fine enough. It doesn’t always catch the gears perfectly and you’ll only get a sort of half press but its not like you’re spinning laundry dry so it seems to do the job. I’m sure over time, if you are too rough with it, the internal gears could get worn out and start to slip even more, but so far I’m pleased with how it is functioning and was pleasantly surprised how robust and well built it feels.

This salad spinner is a well thought out design. In order to get it spinning you raise the handle on the top and pump it 2-3 times and it is up to maximum speed. It is much quieter than others that I have used. It has a brake to stop the spinning and when the brake is used the stopping action removes more water from your salad greens. It is attractive and appears to be well made. You do have to be careful that the top is put on correctly but that’s kind of a “duh” so no problem there.

I planned on using this just to get the extra water out my salad, but I couldnt believe how much dirt came out in the water. I will never use lettuce without spinning it first. I absolutely love it my salad has a totally different taste.

This salad spinner sure makes things more easier and convenient when I need to make a good salad. It is good in size so it holds a very good amount of salad in it. This salad spinner bowl has a green colander inside which is easy to remove and put back in. The white lid has a green handle on top which makes things spin. There is a push lock on top. It is not hard at all to use in my opinion. So no worries there. To use just chop up all the veggies and put inside the bowl. The lid does not lock onto the bowl but it doesn’t have any problem staying on. Now just gently push the handle as many times as needed. It does a good job. When done I take the colander out of the bowl and pour the salad in the bowl. This is perfect to store salad in for later as well. Oh and this is good to put other different kind of foods in it too. After use I found it easy to clean up. So overall this is something really nice to have around in my kitchen.

I love that I can strain out the water and take the bowl right to the table for serving. The handle also locks in place, which is great because the kiddos can help me prepare dinner. I also liked the stop button, because it added more water that I took out. I also really like that after I served dinner all I have to do is lock the lid and store leftovers in the fridge. The product itself is BPA free and is dishwasher safe! This is by far the easiest product I have used in a long time. I was given a product, however all opinions are my own.

I am normally too lazy to make a nice salad because I don’t like having to wash all the veggies and have them laying everywhere on my tiny counter top while I am getting it ready. I received this is a gift and at first I thought I would never use it and even thought of returning it. I decided to try it out and have decided I love it. I love that I can just throw my vegetables in one bowl as I am working and then wash them all together. I also like that it spins it dry so the dressing actually sticks to them (after all, we eat the salad for the dressing, right?)

It works, but the spin speed is limited by the lever mechanism. The wheel style spinner can go much faster, but I’m not a fan of that style.

I really enjoy using my Ozeri Salad Spinner. It comes with a pump unit, colander and serving bowl.After tearing and washing your lettuce leaves simply place them into the colander and place in the serving bowl. Attach the pump unit and pump it four or five times and start the spinning action. A brake is built into the pump unit to stop it at any time. The lettuce leaves will be free of water which can be dumped out of the bowl. Simply add the rest of your salad ingredients and spin again. You’ll have a perfect tossed salad every time.

This is a high quality salad spinner, the colander portion is very sizable, and the bowl holds the colander very well (during use the colander doesn’t pop off the bowl like other ones I have used). The whole assembly works very well together and is very easy to clean. The lever makes it easy to spin, and the vegetables come out nice and clean and dry. I’m excited to eat fresh vegetables more often with this great kitchen tool.
