Utilizing GREBLON an ultra-safe ceramic coating from Germany, the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri achieves non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA, APEO, NMP and NEP. The Green Earth Pan features a honeycomb textured cooking surface that prevents food bonding and distributes heat to enhance cooking performance. Conventional pans achieve their non-stick performance through a synthetic coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene). At high charring temperatures, PTFE can release fumes which are documented to be lethal to small pets, and can be harmful to humans. Traditional pans are also often made with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), a potential carcinogen and APEOs (Alkylphenol ethoxylates), which are under restricted use in Germany due to environmental concerns. With the Green Earth Pan, no such harmful toxic substances are released. The Green Earth Pan utilizes an inert ceramic coating that is applied using a water based Sol Gel Technique which is free of the lesser known but potentially harmful chemicals NMP (N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone) and NEP (N-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone). The Green Earth Pan possess superior non-stick properties that allow you to saute with half the oil normally used, and cleaning is a breeze. The Green Earth Pan is made of die-cast aluminum with a magnetized bottom for induction stoves, and a heat-resistant silicone-coated handle. GREBLON made by Weilburger GmbH, Germany. The Green Earth Pan by Ozeri works wonderfully when doing your basic cooking in a pan. I use it everyday for simple things as browning bread, making grilled cheese, quesadilla, cooking chicken, bacon, eggs, frying rice. The options are ENDLESS! My favorite things about this product is that you don’t have to witness the burning or sticking that most frying pans give you the hassle of dealing with. What I also love about it, is that the pan has an elevated texture that created air pockets that distribute heat underneath food to enhance cooking. That’s why it cooks the food so well and doesn’t burn. (Of course, if you keep it on a high and forget about it, your food will burn, regardless). It’s smart technology knows what to put direct heat on.

As someone who loves to cook, I was excited to get to try the 8″ Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri, with Textured Ceramic Non-Stick Coating from Germany (100% PTFE and PFOA Free). This is my first pan with this ceramic non stick coating.To try it out for the first time I made some mini pancakes for my little girls. The pan worked nicely, nothing stuck to the pan. I like that it comes with the scratch protector while storing, since I have to stack my pans because I have such limited storage space.I really like that this nonstick coating is free from harmful chemicals that can harm my family and the environment. I love that the handle has a silicone coating, it is very nice and easy to hold on to. I like the textured cooking surface and the way it allows foods to brown. Ozeri never ceases to amaze me! They are always coming out with more great & innovative products all the time. These pans are so awesome and are actually non-stick. Some products advertise that, but end up being a pain. Not the Green Earth frying pan. It really is non-stick and so easy to clean after use. Very well worth the price!

The true test for a non-stick pan is eggs! Not only did the egg not stick to the pan, but I could easily slide it out of the pan without a spatula! I love using the Green Earth pan, especially knowing that I, nor my kids, are ingesting harmful toxins, as this pan is free from common non-stick chemicals. I got this pan about a week ago and I have used it everyday! I love how easy it is to clean and how safe I feel knowing that there aren’t toxins leaching into our food. Cheesy eggs used to be the after-bar feast of choice back in college, but these days, it’s a warm, filling Saturday morning breakfast for my daughter and me. The key to cheesy eggs is a great pan to cook them in. I remember one of my post-college Christmas gift requests was a pan so I could make cheesy eggs of my own. It was a great pan that has served me well, but it was time for a new one which I decided would be this Ozeri pan. I was amazed when my eggs were finished and they slide right out of the pan into the bowl. Usually, I’m having to scrape my skillet until I get every last bite, but not with the Ozeri pan. Bottom line, my daughter was happy with her eggs and I was happy with my pan. It definitely heated the eggs evenly, cooked them faster than normal, and I loved that they just slide right out of the pan without having to scrape the edges to get the last few bites. Clean-up on this pan was also super easy. Once it cooled, I rinsed it out and just wiped it clean! I can’t wait to cook more in my new pan.

I was pleasantly surprised once I received my pan in the mail. It is a beautiful pan! I loved the lime green color. It was very well made; not too heavy and not too light. The handle is also very well made and thick; I hate burning my hand once a pan heats up. The silicon handle is also very comfortable and easy to grip, which helps with handling the pan. I did not have that problem at all with the Ozeri pan. Once I cooked my eggs, I also noticed that the pan was heating evenly, something else I was not used to. I would normally get hot spots and places where the egg was starting to cook but not in others. The elevated texture in the bottom of the pan helps to eliminate that problem by ensuring even cooking and the pattern keeps the food from sticking. As a result, my eggs came out light, fluffy and perfect! ALL of the eggs were on my plate and nothing was left in the pan. Awesome! The next challenge was cleaning, which was a breeze! The Ozeri pan was very quick and easy to clean.

I was so excited to receive my pan I washed it and used it right away, not reading any of the included material. At first, I was very disappointed, because this pan didn’t work the way it said…everything stuck to it. Instead of getting upset…I finished what I was doing and read the information included. **insert face palm** I needed to “SEASON” the pan first. So I followed the suggestions, and now…OMG BEST PAN EVER!!! I make my omelets and its amazing. I also melt cheese…PERFECTION!!! Mt daughter loves to make pancakes with it!! AMAZING PAN!!!

I have been using this 12″ pan for over a month and absolutely love it! I cook a lot as I run a food blog and have tried many non-stick pans before. I have been looking for this kind of pan for a long time since we all know teflon coating isn’t healthy. And I just can’t get over how heavy cast iron skillets are. This pan is great and is reasonably priced too! Does the job, what else do you need?! Looks fresh and sleek too!
