The Green Earth Pan features a honeycomb textured cooking surface that prevents food bonding and distributes heat to enhance cooking performance. Conventional pans achieve their non-stick performance through a synthetic coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene). At high charring temperatures, PTFE can release fumes which are documented to be lethal to small pets, and can be harmful to humans. It’s very unique indeed and you won’t see this around much. Before I got this pan I never saw anything like this honeycomb type pattern in a pan. I think it actually helps the food stay abroad so it doesn’t stick down onto a flat surface.A green pan that is green. I actually love the color of these pans.Cleaning up after dinner is a total nightmare but not with this pan. This pan browns my meats and no food goes to waste because nothing sticks. I love using this pan for everything. It’s perfect for my rice dishes because usually when i make rice in other pans it sticks to the bottom and lots of food gets wasted. Totally recommend their whole line of cookware to replace your old pans.

The pan looks like a waffle-textured Teflon pan. This should be more scratch resistant, but time will tell. It definitely takes high heat, and it browns meat very well. It is heavy die cast aluminum, not thin sheet like a lot of grocery store ceramic pans. Heat distribution is very good. So far it is perfectly non-stick, and it cleans up very easy.

I have had so many pans(even expensive ones) claim to heat evenly, only to end up having to rotate the food or have half be raw. It is so frustrating.This pan is AMAZING! I filled the pan(with 2 large steaks), and even the edges (which were fully touching the sides of the pan) were cooked just as thoroughly as the center.I could not believe it cooked so evenly. No other pan I have EVER used has done that.The Non Stick coating is fantastic. I can cook with NO fats or oils and the food never sticks at all.Also, I adore that bright green color. It is just so unique and fun. It looks really nice, and it stays looking nice unlike the outside of most of my cookware.The best pan I have ever owned.

I love that I can sauté and pan fry our food without using as much oil at all. The food cooks evenly and turns out to be perfect every time. The textured cooking surface allows the heat to move around the air pockets underneath the food. It also has a magnetized bottom and a silicone coated handle that is heat resistant. I can’t think of a better test to tell if a pan is cooking evenly than some good old fashioned grilled cheese. We make grilled cheese a lot in our house. Most of the time half the bread is getting to be a dark brown while the other half is still a greasy mess. Our grilled cheese turned out perfect using the Green Earth Pan!

Bought as gift and sister loved it…needs no oils or fats and is totally non-stick….My niece warned not to put them in dishwasher unless it states dishwasher safe this is not but she doesn’t do them in dishwasher anyway so wasn’t a problem

The Green Earth Pan by Ozeri is a dream come true. It states it is free of PTFE and PFOA chemicals which are believed to be harmful when consumed.Ozeri has done an excellent job of creating a non-stick coating that is ceramic based. The honeycombed shaped ridges in the pan allow for even heating and most likely also assist with preventing food from sticking.It is important to read and follow instructions to keep the pan in good working condition. I have only used this pan for a few weeks so I am not sure how this pan fares in the long term. Several other users of this pan have commented that the non-stick technology wears off in the long term. I suspect that using the pan on high heat regularly may eventually cause damage to the non-stick coating. Also frequent frying might damage the coating over time.It may be best to use this pan on the lowest heat possible since it is designed to distribute the heat evenly. Also be frugal with the amount of oil you use in the pan, but do use a little bit as mentioned in the directions. I have used this pan to make spectacular omelets.I was worried that the meat drippings and sauce that dried in the pan during cooking would not come out, but I simply soaked it in water for several hours or overnight and it easily wiped off. I own a couple of other ceramic coated pans that are white on the inside, and while they get the job done the Ozeri feels more heavy duty and capable of withstanding larger cooking jobs. I am very pleased with the performance of this pan.

Great pan. The only thing is they suggest using peanut oil to season it which i did but everything sticking. I thought it was the pan but I used different oil and it worked great after that.

Upon opening the box, I noticed the pan felt and looks quite durable. It is made of heavy gauge die-cast aluminum in addition to a heat-resistant silicon coated handle. The natural ceramic coating is thicker and supposed to be more scratch resistant than other non-stick coated pans. The anodized aluminum in the pan creates more even heating which prevents hot-spots.Upon testing out the pan cooking chicken – we used a little oil as recommended (It states that too much butter or oil can cause buildup in the pan which can cause foods to stick. Nonstick cooking spray is not recommended as it can break down the nonstick coating). I didn’t notice a difference in cooking times with this pan versus my other smooth surface pans. The pan cleans easily which is good considering the textured grooves concerned me that we would need to give it a good scrub if food got stuck in them – thankfully that isn’t the case.I would recommend this pan – especially if you are eco-conscious and want to know you are using safe cookware.

I love the Ozeri pan, the ceramic coating and textured surface provides such an excellent non-stick performance that even I can cook efficiently with it! We have spent a lot of money on pots and pans, unfortunately none of them have been as good as they say they are, regardless of the cost. I actually have to say I am impressed with the green earth pan; it also has to be the heaviest pan I have ever owned.
