Utilizing natural ceramic as a coating, the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri is one of the world’s first frying pans to achieve non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which can be lethal to birds, small pets and humans. When I first got married if someone were to ask me my opinion about cookware I probably would have confused them with an alien. Why would I care about cookware? I used whatever was least expensive or was handed down to me. Over the last 15 years (yes I have been married quite a few years more than that) I have created a kitchen with appliances that I love! Of course I need a new kitchen but that is another story.Now I am always looking for heavy duty products that can hold up to a great deal of use. My husband loves to cook, my mother in law loves to cook (lives with us) and my 8 year old daughter is now fighting for her independence with the kitchen and appliances/equipment.What was my experience with this awesome pan? Of course one of my famous quesadillas! I love this pan – it does everything they claim it should do. I love the pure construction of it – it is nice and solid and well constructed. I fell in love with it before I even used it and could hardly wait to try it out. My daughter is loving making her signature scrambled eggs with it. Nice and evenly cooked every time! And my favorite – a nicely cooked piece of tilapia with panko crumbs and fresh parmesan crust!

A few weeks ago, I was asked to do a product review for the Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan.I received an 8 inch pan which is the perfect size for sauteing vegetables or cooking a breakfast for one. The pan comfortably holds 3 strips of bacon.an a traditional pan. I would usually rinse the pan, while reserving a little of the grease to scramble my eggs, but there was very little residue remaining in the pan so I poured my egg mixture directly in the hot pan without adding additional oil. I could have easily wiped the pan clean with a paper towel, but I’m no heathen. I washed it out anyway. You should wash anything you used to prepare a meal. Since then, I have used the Ozeri Green Earth Pan a few times and have experienced similar results. I continue to follow the packaged instructions, because I like the pan and I want it to last. As I said previously, it is the perfect pan for cooking breakfast for one.

I thought that this would get teflon all over my food etc. It is actually a really nice frying pan. I was able to cook an egg without added butter and it did not stick to the pan. I would not use any metal utensils with this or cook at an extreme high heat, but it works great and was simple to clean. I can also cook several small hamburgers or four smaller pancakes per time.

I LOVE this pan!I have bought non-stick cookware before and have used non-stick pans for years so I thought “how different could this be?” Well it was as different as night is from day! I have never had a non-stick pan like this. The ultra-safe ceramic coating is 100% PTFE and PFOA free. That textured bottom? It is designed to deliver enhanced heat distribution and superior non-stick performance without ever releasing harmful fumes or toxins. The ceramic coating is scratch resistant and super easy to clean! (YEA!!) The pan itself is made of durable, heavy-gauge, die-cast aluminum with no heavy metals or harmful chemicals. It has a magnetized, induction stove safe base for rapid heat transfer and the handle is comfortable, heat-resistant silicone coated.I cooked cheesy eggs my first time out. not a single piece of egg or cheese stuck to the pan and the entire pan full slid right out onto a plate, leaving nothing behind. I cooked at only a slightly lower temperature than I normally do and the results were great. The eggs were fluffier and lighter and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to cook other foods and see the results. I wish every pan in my kitchen performed like this one!
