Utilizing natural ceramic as a coating, the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri is one of the world’s first frying pans to achieve non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which can be lethal to birds, small pets and humans. In addition, traditional pans incorporating PTFE are manufactured with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment’. With the Green Earth Pan, no harmful toxic fumes are ever released into the environment. This is because the Green Earth Pan utilizes a 100% ceramic coating derived from nature. The ceramic coating is completely free of PTFE and PFOA. This is a very well built products I have gone through several cheaper frying pans over the years they usually last only months. Teflon is easy to scratch this pan is durable and has a thicker body that should hold its shape when used at high heats.

I just got a 12″ Green Earth Pan by Ozeri and I absolutely love it. One of many things I love about this pan is the size, I was able to cook four pieces of french toast at the same time. The french toast all cooked evenly, there was plenty of room to flip them and it didn’t stick to the pan at all. With other pans I have purchased I can only fit two maybe three pieces of french toast which takes more time to cook, and the pans seem to have hot spots so it doesn’t cook my food evenly.Another great feature is the silicone handle, pan handles tend to get hot and could burn your hand, thats not an issue with this pan. It also has a patterned non-stick cooking surface, the elevated texture helps distribute heat underneath the food and the Greblon ceramic coating prevents your food from sticking.The Greblon coating works as well as Teflon, but unlike Teflon the Greblon ceramic coating is 100% safe to use it is PTFE and PFOA free. It is completely eco-friendly and doesn’t emit any harmful fumes. It is also scratch resistant but you should only use wooden or plastic cooking utensils if you do happen to scratch it, it is still safe to use it unlike Teflon pans that have to be thrown away so toxins don’t get in your food.I love the green apple color of this pan. It is easy to wash by hand with hot soapy water and a soft dishcloth, but it is safe to wash in the dishwasher. If there is any residue or white film on the pan from washing it in the dish water a little vinegar and lemon juice will remove it, just rinse thoroughly. It is also safe to use on a Induction stove.I highly recommend this pan and I intend to buy more for my house. As an avid blogger many companies give me their products to review as Ozeri did, but that in way alters my opinion of this product.

This pan is attractive and affordable compared to some of the other high end cookware on the market. I received mine as a sample in exchange for a review. I challenged it with the toughest cooked on mess I could find… I put cheese straight onto the pan surface, after I seasoned it according to the directions. I cooked it to just this side of burnt, and then I let it cool. My personal experience is that this is a recipe for an overnight soak and some harsh language when you’re trying to get it off, but that cheese lifted right off the pan. (And it was delicious.) I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with this pan.

Out of all the pans I currently own and have ever owned this is my favorite. It’s great that it’s ECO friendly and its true to the word of non stick. I find it to be the right size for those big meals. It does take a little longer to heat up but also a good thing because so many pans will just burn the food before it cooks. I find this pan to cook evenly without burning your meal.

The Green Earth Pan by Ozeri works wonderfully when doing your basic cooking in a pan. I use it everyday for simple things as browning bread, making grilled cheese, quesadilla, cooking chicken, bacon, eggs, frying rice. The options are ENDLESS! My favorite things about this product is that you don’t have to witness the burning or sticking that most frying pans give you the hassle of dealing with. What I also love about it, is that the pan has an elevated texture that created air pockets that distribute heat underneath food to enhance cooking. That’s why it cooks the food so well and doesn’t burn. (Of course, if you keep it on a high and forget about it, your food will burn, regardless). It’s smart technology knows what to put direct heat on.

Part of being confident in the kitchen means having the right tools to get the job done. This frying pan is indeed a must have. It is average weight, but that is just about the only thing average with this item. The silicone handle makes it convenient to carry the pan when necessary and offers ample length to hold in comfortably. The thickness of the pan offers strength and durability for this pan to last. The non-stick coating works nicely and I have not encountered any issues with it peeling. I do use wooden cooking utensils to help minimize this from potentially happening. This is very easy to wash and the pan distributes the heat nice and even to cook your masterpiece. There is a honeycomb design on the bottom which helps whatever your cooking, cook lovely. This also came with a felt piece for when storing to protect the pan. Factor that in and the PTFE AND PFOA free and it is a great item for me.

We cook 9-10 dozen eggs on the 2nd Saturday every month. This is an egg cooking wonder. NO sticking, No burning (on a low heat) and clean up is so easy. Just wipe it clean and its ready forthe next 18 eggs. This green pan has made my volunteer time very easy and enjoyable. Now Ican pitch out all the other pans. They are all scratched anyway and I just don’t want to rememberthose sticky pans. I have a #1 pan now.
