Utilizing natural ceramic as a coating, the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri is one of the world’s first frying pans to achieve non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which can be lethal to birds, small pets and humans. In addition, traditional pans incorporating PTFE are manufactured with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment’. This is honestly one of THE best pans I have ever used. The ceramic coating has lasted and is scratch free. It works perfectly fine on my induction stove and cleanup is a snap! Ive experienced no warping or deterioration of any kind with this pan. I recommend this pan wholeheartedly.

I absolutely love making meals with this pan! I haven’t owned it for very long, but each and every use has been a non-stick experience with an easy clean up! The Green Earth pan has a really neat textured, raised cooking bottom. It has greblon, which is a ceramic coating from Germany, and it’s absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. That’s what gives it it’s non-stick capabilities. I haven’t used metal utensils on this pan yet, so as far as scratch resistance, I can’t really comment on until I’ve owned for a longer time. But I will say that I wish Ozeri made a whole set of pots and pans. I really would like to have more than just this 12″ pan. Also, I have not washed this any other way other than by hand. And we haven’t had to use any elbow grease to get the grease off. LOL.I did receive this one pan for free in exchange for an honest review of the product once I’ve used it a few times.

Very good pan, much sturdier and better made than i expected. Just make sure to order a lid idky i though it came with one it doesn’t. Heats very nicely n i have a gas stove at my house my gf has electric i bought it for her house n it works great on that im sure it would be even better on gas.

Decent weight not too light built solid. Amazing that this is eco friendly. Absolutely love them. I have since ordered two more 12″ , a wok, and a 10″ PLUS lids. All are the smooth but one, I like that one too–I wish they made matching pots!!
