I normally hand wash mine, but it could also be tossed in the dishwasher if desired. This is the wok I have been waiting for. Between me and my daughter we use a wok a lot. The Ozeri wok has a 100% ceramic coating, scratch resistant, non stick, 100% PTFE and PFOA free. To use the wok you should season it with spray Pam or cooking oil. The wok heats food evenly. I like that this wok is not too heavy. The green coloring is sharp looking. I can make my stir-fry, eggs, sausage, vegetables, rice and so much more in the wok. It’s a 12 inch wok with a smooth ceramic non stick cooking surface. I have a few different woks and by far this is my favorite. I find that cooking with a ceramic pan is so much better. The food simply glides out of the wok. This wok will last for years. The quality is exceptional. It also comes with a protective cover when the pan is not in use. If you are looking for a good quality non stick wok look no further this is the one. A wok has many purposes; you can fry up anything in the wok. This is my most used pan in the house.

Not only is it great at stir frying, it does a wonderful job at sauteing both meat and veggies, frying and boiling. Very versatile. This wok is very sturdy, heats evenly and best of all the non stick coating is 100% safe, not to mention it is scratch resistant, so you can use your metal utensils. The long heat resistant handle is very comfortable to hold. It can withstand the high temperature necessary in stir fry cooking. Food comes out evenly cooked. Clean up is a breeze. I bought the 12″ free-standing glass lid, also by Ozeri, at the same time as this wok. Both are very strong and well made and at a very good price. I wanted a wok that was non-stick but not Teflon. The diameter of the base that contacts the larger electrical element on my stovetop matches the element’s dimensions perfectly. I followed the directions to rub oil, I used coconut oil, into the surface before first use although I never intend to cook with oil in this wok. I have only used the wok and lid once to make stir fries starting with the sauteing of onion before the cabbage, carrots, sprouts and seasonings were added. Having the lid allowed me to finish with a few minutes of steaming and kept the food warm while I chowed down my first serving. Cleanup was what I was expecting from a ceramic coating: perfect. This wok is big with a rather long handle. Such a great tool, it is the only pot that has earned its own nail to hang on the kitchen wall. The large lid stands beside the stovetop. I am looking forward to using this great combo often.

Just follow the instructions, and this wok works great. “Medium heat”: I use it on a ceran (glass) cooktop whose size matches the bottom of the wok. It has 11 settings (low,2,…,10,high), and for me it works best on 7 out of 11. If I go higher, things start to burn inside the wok. Utensils: obviously use non-metal tools. Cleaning the wok is not a problem at all. I bought the 12 in version. I would definitely buy it again.

It has been several months since I got this wok. The outside bottom of the wok does not mark my stovetop and it prevents my stove from scratches. The color is very appealing and modern. I like it a lot, reason why I use it for many things. Since it is very deep/tall, It is great for frying chicken and cooking bacon. The oil does not splash as much with this wok. I even use it to cook fried rice. It gets cleaned very easy by using just soap and water. The handle has never been loose at all as it is very firm. It is the best wok I have ever owned and used.

This is seriously the best cooking vessel I own! People tend to think of only certain foods when they think of a wok. That is just not the case. This is my go to in the kitchen with almost every meal. The wok has a ceramic surface that allows great cooking. The clean up of this pan is also a breeze! Almost everything can just be wiped off the non-stick surface. My favorite feature of this wok is the oven-safe handle. On busy nights, sometimes I just put the whole pan in the oven to keep it warm until we get a chance to sit down and eat. I would highly recommend this pan to everyone.
