I’ve done big backups to mini 256MB USB 3+ thumb drives. The write speed of this bigger drive blows them away.

I needed a drive for my digital recorder, to capture multitrack recordings of live shows. And something that could take 24 tracks at 192khz/24bit without dropouts. And, it had to be small, and inconspicuous. A hard drive would not do the job. I found this in the BH catalog, it met the criteria, and unlike an external drive that would hang out of the rack case and require an external supply, this simply plugged into the USB3 jack on the back of the recorder. Out of the way. Inconspicuous. And it has enough capacity I can start the recording before the show, pull during strike, and hang it on a ProTools rig for mixing. Easy Peasy. And very reliable, without backups, dropouts or errors. A perfect solution. Highly recommended.

I researched lots of USB drives and this device met all the hype. Super fast reads/writes make dealing with OS images a lot less painful!
