Needed a cable like this in this size. I just purchased a new power recliner that has a built in USB 2.0 port, the 3ft cord would of been too small, and the 10ft would of been way too big, this size is perfect. For a Canon G5x Mk II, for which Canon . . . doesn’t make a cable (?). OEM cables for other newer Canons come with chokes. I’m willing to accept the additional protection chokes provide delicate (I guess) camera electronics and while this cable lacks a choke it is shielded. Otherwise . . . it’s a cable.
