The Pearstone USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Female Cable (10′) is a premium quality cable that extends your existing USB device by 10′ (3 m). It meets all specifications of USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. This premium extension cable supports error-free data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbs.
Braided copper shielding and an aluminum foil wrap protects against electromagnetic and radio interference and ensures a clean signal transfer, even with large files at high speed. The connectors are hot pluggable and install with Plug-and-Play ease.
This cable is manufactured under RoHS guidelines with no environmentally hazardous cadmium or lead and is UL rated and FCC certified.

This short USB extension cable should work with some extended runs, but probably not all without a powered extender. I wanted to extend my USB cable from my camera from 6 to 12 feet, with the 6 additional feet being added by this extension cable. I can access the camera and download the data MOST of the time, but not always. Sometimes I will have to unplug and plug back in to reset and then good to go. Don’t expect miracles without a powered USB extension hub, but on a budget this should do fine if your patient and willing to maybe do more than one attempt.

I use this from time to time when I need a little extension on the length of my cord for my mic. when I bought it 3ft sounded long but reality is 3ft is not very long. While is works great i probably would have went with a 6ft instead of the 3ft, but I can’t say anything bad about the 3ft cord.

I use this cord as an extention for my headphones that have a shorter than average cord. I use my headphones while video recording to monitor my mic and needed to extend the length of the cord. 3ft is a perfect length, and doesn’t leave extra cord laying around for someone to trip over. It’s well made, good quality, thick….in fact better than the cord on my headphone. Can also be used as a mic extention.

Great value for the small price. The cable need only do a simple task. Connector is very fragile with exposed metal edges but only active cables costing 10x more have durable such. Charging takes 10x longer with this extension than with the phone’s original/stock cable, but worth the convenience.
