The Pearstone USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Female Cable (6′) is a premium quality cable that extends your existing USB device by 6′ (1.8 m). It meets all specifications of USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. This premium extension cable supports error-free data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbs.
Braided copper shielding and an aluminum foil wrap protects against electromagnetic and radio interference and ensures a clean signal transfer, even with large files at high speed. The connectors are hot pluggable and install with Plug-and-Play ease.

I got this extension so I didn’t have to move my printer closer to my computer. The printer is a wifi but I always have trouble of it not connecting. So I just got this to keep it connected via usb. Does what it is supposed to do and it was cheap enough.

This short USB extension cable should work with some extended runs, but probably not all without a powered extender. I wanted to extend my USB cable from my camera from 6 to 12 feet, with the 6 additional feet being added by this extension cable. I can access the camera and download the data MOST of the time, but not always. Sometimes I will have to unplug and plug back in to reset and then good to go. Don’t expect miracles without a powered USB extension hub, but on a budget this should do fine if your patient and willing to maybe do more than one attempt.

I bought this cable to extend a web cam and the cable its faulty. the more frustrating thing is that is that I took the cable with me in Europe to use it here for my trip and its all time disconnecting and connecting by itself. I bought lost of item on bh photo, but none so cheaply done as this cable. stay away to save you time and headache.

I purchased this USB 2 booster cable a couple of weeks ago. Am using it to supply a hub which has a couple of printers plugged into it. It has worked perfectly so far. I will probably order another one on my next purchase as the info on the packaging states that one can put tow or three together. Price is very good. I’m very pleased with it.

I spent a lot of diagnostic time with a similar product and almost replaced a USB camera because of poor quality. I kept getting a message that the device would work better with a 2.0 USB and it was 2.0. So I plugged this Pearstone USB 2.0 booster in and everything was fixed. Don’t buy junk cables. It cost us $ not having our medical camera working.

In some situations, it’s not practical for all USB devices to be within 16 feet of your computer. This cable provides an extra 16 feet of length to a standard USB cable. It reportedly can be chained to give longer reaches, but I haven’t tried that.
