The Pearstone USB 2.0 Type-A Male to Type-B Male Cable supports transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. This cable is designed to connect to a PC, Mac, or any USB device. It features a USB Type-A at one end and Type B at the other end and offers high speed transmission to maximize conductivity and minimize data loss. It is fully compliant with USB 2.0 specifications.
This premium cable offers braided copper shielding and an aluminum foil wrap to minimize electromagnetic and radio interference and to ensure clean signal transfers, even with large file sizes and at high speed. The connectors are hot pluggable and are plug and play. Additionally, this cable is manufactured under RoHS guidelines (with no environmentally hazardous cadmium or lead), UL rated, and FCC certified.

Where to begin with this product? Its 1.8 meters long, not a measly 1.7 nor a cumbersome 1.9. Its black so its invisible and as I do 90 of my printing in TOTAL darkness this was a key feature for me. Before I owned this cable my printer and my laptop were unconnected in both a literal, and to a lesser extent a metaphorical sense but now they communicate in a win-win scenario. My laptop says print and my printer obeys, in a dignified and timely fashion and thanks to the aforementioned length(1.8 meters) I can maintain a safe/respectful distance between laptop and printer. The cable has NEVER leaked sensitive documents to the enemy and as its classified as USB 2.0 as opposed to human being I am not required to provide it with medical insurance or quarterly reviews. I would recommend this product even to those living without electric power as is brightens up any space and it a great conversation piece at parties.

I got this cord to print from my Macbook to my Canon Pro 1000 – I print large files so I didn’t want to do it wirelessly. This works perfectly for that, and if I wanted to I could sit across the room since the cord’s so long.
