The 7′ black Pearstone Hi-Speed USB Type A Male to Mini USB Type B Cable with Ferrite Bead is designed to connect USB-enabled devices to your computer for data transfer. The cable features two ferrite beads, which act as an EMI filter, making it ideal for devices that require interference-free connections, like professional digital cameras and handheld audio recorders. By dissipating electromagnetic interference, the ferrite bead prevents your computer and your USB device from transmitting electronic noise to each other, allowing them to run at optimum performance.
The cable takes advantage of the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed maximum transfer rate of 480Mbps, and ensures error-free data transmission. The cable is manufactured under RoHS guidelines, without environmentally hazardous cadmium or lead, and is UL rated and FCC certified.

If you want to control the camera thru your computor or lap top, download a program that allows you to hook up your camera via USB cable. You then take and review your pictues on your computor screen, giving you a large view of what you just photographed. The camera is now controlled via your downloaded program. The picture is now as large as your computor screen so you really have a wonderful way to examine the picture and correct any errors in the picture or retake it.
