The black 16′ Pearstone USB 3.0 Extension Cable with Booster features active electronics that boost the USB signal to prevent data loss, allowing you to connect your USB-enabled devices over 60′ away (using multiple booster cables, sold separately) and still take advantage of the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed maximum transfer rate of 5Gbps. Without a booster, the USB signal begins to degrade after 15′. If you’re using a USB device that requires full USB power in order to function, make sure to plug the device into a powered USB hub before plugging it into the extension cable.

Needed a long USB cable to be able to position a webcam a good distance from a laptop for a hybrid meeting. This cable did the trick.
Reese Murazik (verified owner) –
My desktop only has USB 3.0 ports in the back so they are very inconvenient to use. This extension cable solved the problem. I leave it plugged in all the time, sitting on top of the tower so it is easily accessible. Now I get super fast transfer speeds between my 3.0 thumb drive and PC.

Hey, they are cables – what’s to say?
Leif DuBuque (verified owner) –
But B&H got them back and sent me a notice without a problem. I have used them several time to show customers what I am doing and so they can see the camera on the big TV.
Destiney Dach (verified owner) –
1 worked great and one was a bit flakey, not sure why.
Dorothy McLaughlin (verified owner) –
No problems. I used it to extend some cables that I had but were too short.

I dj on Twitch and needed to reach a) my camera with an hdmi capture card attached, and b) a little midi button stream controller thing lol. Worked exactly as I had hoped for both. Makes for a clean and efficient setup
Freda Labadie (verified owner) –
Works exactly as expected. Appears heavily constructed. I would buy it again.
Yasmeen Willms (verified owner) –
Good products.
Destin Ruecker (verified owner) –
the cable would not let my ear piece charge not happy
Flavie Littel (verified owner) –
I like that the cable comes wrapped in a circle (and not folded/creased). Helps it lay flat better. Other than that, it does what it should!
Karley Schroeder (verified owner) –
works just fine – no issues

perfect

I bought this 15′ USB cable to connect a Wacom tablet, model CTL 460, to my iMac. I need the length to accommodate a mirrored-monitor second workstation (one standing, one sitting.) The continuous 15′ cord is apparently too long to communicate to the Wacom tablet. However, a 9′ cord extended with a 6′ cord works great. In my troubleshooting I tried a 15′ USB extension cord purchased from Amazon and that one didn’t work either. My research informed me that long USB extension cords can be problematic.
