I use this bag to carry my ham radio equipment to portable activations. Plenty of pockets. Well built. Haven’t used it the rain to test the waterproof zippers but they look waterproof. Have seen some comments about the zippers are tough to use. At first they are stiff but loosen up with use. I highly recommend.

Excellent build quality and materials used with this package to create utility with style. This is the best daily use back pack I’ve owned.

Great backpack. Plenty of pockets to put stuff. I use mine for my portable ham radio equipment. I read some of the zipper comments. They are a tad tight to zip and unzip at first but they get easier the more you use them. And the bag is water resistant so Im willing to put up with a little initial tightness for that kind of protection. I definitely recommend this product.

This backpack is super comfortable and has plenty of pockets for all of your gear. I can tell it’s built well like all of Pelican products.

This backpack is built very well and I’m sure we’ll last me many years. I really like that the bottom of the laptop pocket stops about 2 inches short of the bottom of the backpack. This means that you don’t have to worry about damaging the laptop when you set the backpack down quickly on a hard surface. I would have preferred to have more small compartments and sleeves for papers. It’s clear that this backpack is designed for hikers rather than Urban users. There aren’t many good locations to put small things. My solution is to put all of the small things in a ziplock bag to try and keep them organized. As I mentioned at the beginning, the build quality is excellent so I would recommend this backpack to anyone who appreciates it’s layout.

I live in a very, very rainy environment and for years have had to carry an extra pack ‘rain cover’ for hikes. This pack has waterproof zippers and material. The layout has plenty of pockets for misc gear. All in all an excellent outdoor gear investment. Zippers were a little stiff when I first go the pack but have since loosened up.
