The Pelican Water Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System Filter Replacement Membrane is a 4-stage system. These 4-stages include a 20-micron sediment pre-filter, a granular activated carbon (GAC) pre-filter, reverse osmosis membrane and a granular activated carbon post-filter. The membrane design reduces the amount of water down the drain so it fills up the reserve tank quicker. For best results replace every 18 months.

I have to say this was the easiest filter change I’ve ever done. Literally unplug and plug the new one in and your done. Crazy easy. I even did a video on it for YouTube so if you want to see just how easy it is just search for it. you can do this yourself. It just as easy as changing the filter in you refrigerator. We are heavy user of our water system so our filter only lasts about 13 months normal use it will last the recommended replacement time frame. Use only recommended replacement filters I wouldn’t go for an aftermarket brand you want to insure proper fit for no leaks.
