Installing a Pelican Water series water filter or water softener has never been easier than with the Pelican Water Whole House Dual Installation Kit. With this helpful kit, there is never any need to deal with the mess of cutting pipes or glue. This convenient install kit uses John Guest Quick fittings. All you need to do is to bring the incoming and outgoing water lines to the John Guest fittings and connect them. In some cases, additional piping and fittings may be needed to bring the incoming and outgoing water lines to the John Guest connections in this kit. This came with everything that was needed to attach the system together. You still have to bring your house water to the sediment filter and then back from the water softener. All of the connection points that have O-rings and snap rings were preassembled and made the installation very easy.

I purchased the installation kit because I was doing work to replace the cement stepping stones my tanks were sitting on with a cement slab pad & wasn’t sure I could get the copper pipes/ fittings to line up. Worked better than expected because I didn’t have to solder fittings to the installation kit because they were compression fittings.

The flexible hoses made the installation much easier! Connecting the different components of the Pelican Whole House Water System with this installation kit is ideal. Not having a rigid connection has allowed me to easily move my tanks a couple of times to correct problems caused by the inept plumber I hired. Since these fittings attach and detach so easily without leaks, I am sure I will enjoy using them for many years ‰ЫТ especially when it is time to change out the carbon filter medium. The installation kit is well worth the cost! The fittings and hoses are well designed and user friendly. Good Job Pelican!

This kit is a no-brainer. While utilizing no tools at all, you can make connections that do not leak. I’ve had my system running now for 5 days, and these connections are rock solid. Simple too, just slide them onto 1″ copper, pex, cpvc. The lines are easily bent by hand to get the angles you need. Hand tighten the connections to the tank and simply slide over (in my case) pex, and you’re done.

Kit is good but my Plummer didn’t need to use it. He only use one of the short pipe.So don’t buy it if you don’t need to, ask your plummer first, save yourself 200$.

I would definitely recommend this if your going to install it yourself or have a plumber do it .The install is a lot easier and it looks nicer then pvc pipe. My first thought was it is a little pricey but the quality is there so it’s worth it.

Appear to be a good kit if you’re not too handy with copper lines and fixings, this kit will save lots of time installing the unit. My plumber chose to install everything with copper for a more professional look so we returned the kit. However, if you decided to install yourself I strong recommend that you use this installation kit.

Little pricy but saves a lot of time searching for the right parts. I installed on my own but I am not a plumber and no leaks! Only complaint is that it would be nice to have another option for connecting inlet side of pre-filter. Took me an extra trip for parts to connect.
