Installing a Pelican Water series water filter or water softener has never been easier than with the Pelican Water Whole House Single Installation Kit. With this helpful kit, there is never any need to deal with the mess of cutting pipes or glue. This convenient install kit uses John Guest Quick fittings. All you need to do is to bring the incoming and outgoing water lines to the John Guest fittings and connect them. In some cases, additional piping and fittings may be needed to bring the incoming and outgoing water lines to the John Guest connections in this kit. We had the Pelican system installed by a plumber. It took approx 5 hours and cost $1200, which is the National average. Our water was is at the top of the hardness scale, but this system has done an excellent job of treating it. Our skin and hair no longer have magnesium buildup and the scale is loosening from our pipes and appliances. It will prolong the life of our appliances. For us, it was well worth the price.
