Bought NS6 to solve electric how water heater element scaling from hard water. Didn’t work for me as water too hard. But Robert in CS stayed with me for 6 weeks, tested my water and gave me full satisfaction as a customer. Turns out only salt based systems actually remove the minerals which my application requires. Using the NS6 for cold water only that feeds tap water and my open loop Geothermal system and a salt based system for domestic hot waterways the answer. So my recommendation of the NS6 is in this application for cold water.

So far, so good. The natursoft is seemingly doing a great job. Besides that, I can’t say enough good things about the folks who answer the phone at Pelican. From answering allmof my technical questions, to ordering, to customer service, they’ve been a pleasure.

I had a leak on my original tank. I called; I was blown away with the customer first attitude. It is rare in any industry. I got a replacement and it works amazing! No issues. They were polite, fast, efficient, understanding and most important fast. Just on the basis of customer support I would highly recommend. On product I use their products (RO) on my Beer Equipment.! Additional note, I have run service call centers for global Facilities- I would have been proud to call this service my own!

Product works well . Easy to install. Filter mounting screws do not hold well. Water feels nice and tastes great. Happy that I don’t have to buy salt.

Hello: I could not be more pleased with this system. Our water has had a significant improvement. My wife’s hair was softer and easy to brush. Our clothes were much softer and smell better.the dryer even takes less time to dry our clothes. Now if it last as long as advertised, I would saythis is a fantastic product. I should also say that when it arrived it was missing the mounting bracket for the house filter. But I only had to jump through one hoop to get it delivered.

I had to have a Plummer install it because our house was fitted with a previous system, BUT, so far I love the system. Lots of water pressure and no issues with multiple showers/dishwasher going. Long run this will be a fraction of the price of the tanks that were being replaced twice a month by a service and the water so far feels great.

I was skeptical and cautious on trying a salt-free conditioner, but so glad we did! My wife noticed a difference immediately with how her hair felt from the shower. We have also seen an increase in our water pressure as the shower head has cleaned up. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Easy to install, recommend getting the installation kit too–the flexible piping is well made and makes the placement of the filter and system more flexible to your situation. After 2 days my wife felt a difference with her hair and skin. Also we bleached the showers and toilets, and after 2 weeks still no pink showing up, so that is a first (usually every 4-5 days pink would start appearing). Having the no-salt system is a bonus as it doesn’t add sodium to the water and no slimy feeling-and nothing to buy over the years. The sediment filter will last a long time, especially if you have public and not well water. So the 4-pack I got too should last 8 years.

I purchased the whole house conditioner on the recommendation of a friend. I’m pretty “handy” so it was easy to install even in a tight location; after gathering fittings it took about a hour. The “jury is still out” on how much water spotting and scaling is reduced, but I do notice the glass shower does clean easier. The dish washer spotting is virtually eliminated, so that’s a good sign.

We bought this after we remodeled our bathroom. We have hard water which we lived with for years but got frustrated when the hard water stains started appearing on our new fixtures. I never liked the ‘feel’ of the salt based water softeners so we tried the Pelican saltless system. Installation was pretty straight forward with one problem. The female pipe threads cut into the filter housing were tapped too deeply so the male fittings bottomed before they started to make up. I was using Home Depot male fittings rather than the fittings that came with the kit. Since I could not fully tighten them, I had a leak with with tape and then pipe joint compound. Pelican was very cooperative and sent a new filter. The new filter threads were also tapped very deeply so I installed the new fittings using Permatex Ultra Blue as a sealant and did not have any issues. With the exception of this one problem, the system worked very well.

My first concern was using huge amounts of water with my old salt softener. I’m supplied by a well and found my old softener was constantly running water down the drain. Second, was the continuous purchase of salt every month. And third, the high cost of replacing the existing unit. The pelican Nature soft system solved all my issues. No more excess water usage, no more salt to buy, and about half the price.I’ve had this unit for two years now. I couldn’t be happier. Any capable plumber should be able to replace your old system with the Pelican unit in a couple of hours. If you do not have an existing water softener it may require additional time and parts.
