I purchased my system 5 years ago and could not be any more satisfied. I just replaced the filter media, which was very simple. During the media replacement while on bypass there was a notable difference in the water quality at the tap. I recommend the system and would purchase again.

I’m a 67 year old homeowner with no trouble in changing the media myself. If you receive the gravel with your charcoal, add the gravel to the cylinder first.

Having received the replacement carbon filter replacement media I was delighted to find that it contained a tool/materials kit & straightforward instructions as well as the media itself. The task could not have been simpler, taking about 90 minutes total, to remove the spent carbon media, wash out the tank. pour in the fresh media, using the supplied funnel, reassemble, soak & backflush to remove carbon fines. The need to soak/settle the media for 2 days prior to installation was only a minor inconvenience.

Replacing the media in the tank was easy, and everything was provided to do so, except instructions. I had to go on line and find a video to show how to do it.

I bought replacement carbon media for my PC 600 system after 5 years of use. I had never replaced the media before and was a little anxious about all the steps that may be involved. The replacement kit came with everything I needed and the instructions were easy to follow. In addition, Pelican pointed me to a short YouTube video that I could watch to see each step of the process. It was all much easier and faster than I thought it would be!

It is now over a week since refill of the carbon media and my water is still slightly milky. It is clearing and I do want to thank all I spoke with regarding this. It was a surprise to see the water come out like milk. I know that I can trust your product and I will continue to be a customer. Thanks again.

I bought this to replace the damaged carbon medium in our filter. Works great, easy to install thanks to the tutorial video on YouTube. It came with bib attachment to connect to hose and large funnel to pour medium into canister comfortably.

The procedure is pretty simple but the old media in the tank is very heavy and messy. It took a little while and made quite a mess but it was outside. If your tank is inside I recommend taking it outside to replace the media. Also, I made a bypass line around the media tank to be able to continue to use water until the soak is finished. Very helpful.

The process was very simple and the instructions were perfect and easy to follow. It took approx 1 hour to remove the old media, clean the cylinder and replace with the new media. However, after reinstalling the cylinder after 48 hours as stated there were carbon fines marking on the toilet bowl.
