I have only had the unit installed for a couple of weeks and seems to be working okay.I would suggest that you include 2 vs 1 adapter for the garden hose connection, used for flushing and out setting the carbon. I had to go out and buy components and make up the second one needed for the flushing.

We purchased the PSE2000 system on line with Pelican. The process was very easy and fast. The units were delivered in the time frame outlined and arrived in perfect condition. They were installed 3 days after receipt by a certified plumber in about 1 hour and they work Fantastic. Within 2 days we noticed a huge difference in our water quality (taste) and reduction of water hardness. We love our system and would make this purchase all over again.

Had this water filter and softener for a few weeks now and so far I’m liking it. The bad taste of the water from the city is gone and I see minimal calcium deposits form the faucets, showerheads, etc. As per info, this will take some time to go away. I got my plumber scheduled to flushout the hot water tank and hopefully remove the calcium deposits in the tank. I’ll rate it 4 stars for now and will update in the future.

It took awhile for my customer to pull the trigger on the purchase. There are other units out there that look like the same thing for far less money. They finally did. The sales person was great. The set up and soak and flushing time seemed like it takes too much time(I don’t really know). We hard pipped it with 1″ copper pipe and brass valves which makes for a great looking installation. If you want a quick and easy than use the “Installation Kit” I would recommend an additional “By-Pass” line when installing the unit.

I hate the feeling salt gives when your washing, and it doesn’t truely feel like your clean. However, after our old unit died we replaced it with the PSE2000 and my wife and I love it!!! Water doesn’t smell anymore, and it’s clean.

Easy installation, very high quality components. We install these for many of our customers and they are always quite pleased. The integrated bypass system is excellent and convenient.The volume is a key factor as well. Many other systems slow down the availability of water and can cause significant pressure drop when multiple fixtures are running. NOT with Pelican. Clean clear, reliable, pristine water. No scale, no spots, and tastes great. I prefer to only install Pelican.

After my research I found Pelican was the only company offering this type of installation kit making it easy. I had to put the carbon filter on the right because the house input water supply was also on the right causing me to add copper tubing. The hardware store has new copper snap on water tight fittings that eliminates braising. We now have great tastiing waster at a great price.

Installed myself, fairly easy but wish the videos showed a setup where house inlet and outlet were next to each other, my house had a plumbed loop. Directions were clear and easy to understand. Noticed improved water quality nearly immediately and continued to improve. Nice to have bottle water quality from every tap, especially with Las Vegas water. I used shark bite fittings and PEX.
