They both work as advertised. Water does taste much better than plain tap, and even better than the PUR filter we had prior to this one. The shower unit was a snap to install and I am impressed with the difference in water softness. We live in a water/sewage district that frowns on water softeners as the added salts make it harder for them to treat using the Bardenpho chemical-free treatment process. These filters do an excellent job without having to treat the water chemically.

I learned hard way the importance of the water.Even a showering water need to be purified especially for kids.So, this combo is all in one solution for me. It is very simple to install (need some work for counter top. depending how much you care about cosmetic after installation)No smells after the installation and water flow is not affected.Clean drinking water and great feeling after shower.Maybe it is me, but I could really tell the difference.On top of this, you don’t have to break your bank to purchase this.So, give it a try,

This is an excellent kit. you get both the shower and the kitchen filter systems. The shower kit is very easy to install. Within 5 minutes you can have filtered shower water. All it takes is a wrench and some teflon tape (not provided) and you are all set. Note : The 1st few minutes of using this filter will release some black/brown water THIS IS NORMAL.The kitchen filter system is even more simpler. All you need is the attachment for your spec faucet (the kit comes with 2 adapters). You then add the system inline to your faucet and turn the valve when you want filtered water. The water does taste much better.Overall I like these 2 systems, both are easy to install and easy to use. I will definitely recommend this filter system

Watching the video of the chlorine test was wild! I feel so much better knowing my water is being filtered in both my shower and kitchen. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The shower water is significantly softer, I am not sure what was in our water before. I really like the aromatherapy disk while showering, it’s a nice touch. The kitchen countertop filter is a bit bulky, so I may eventually install it under the sink out of sight and out of the way. For now it is fine, just not ideal. I definitely don’t smell the chlorine like before and the water tastes different. It has no taste…which I think is how water is suppose to taste without all the chemicals. Before I drill a hole in my counter top I want to make sure that this is still working 6 months from now. I plan to do the chlorine test just like in the video.Overall I am very happy with both the shower and sink filters and may purchase another for my guest bathroom.

Shower Filter:My well water is loaded with iron, minerals and sediment. The iron leaves heavy rust stains on my shower walls They wanted 3 grand for a whole house water filter so that was not an option. Home Depot had this filter on sale and it seemed to be a simple solution for my problem. Installation was quick and easy and the result was immediate. Improved water flow, no odor and no longer any signs of sediment. Even my hair felt softer after shampooing. Time will tell how well it handles the iron rust stains but so far, so good. According to the specs the filter element should last 9 months with once daily showers and they offer an auto-ship program for replacements which I signed up for. The filters are discounted and the shipping is free. NOTE: You’ll need at least 8-1/2″ from the bottom of your shower pipe to the ceiling to be able to install this.Countertop Filter:I’ve been using PUR water filters on my kitchen sink faucet. They worked okay but the water flow was severely restricted and the filters had to be changed often. I opted for this system to avoid having to drill a hole in the countertop for an under-counter system. This filter is truly ugly but my well water is so bad I have to use filters. If you can overlook the ugly it’s a quick, non-permanent system that does the job nicely.
