With support for dual-touch optical feedback, the PXL2430MW 24″ 16:9 Touchscreen LCD Monitor from Planar Systems is designed to allow users to take full advantage of the various touchscreen options offered by Windows 10. In addition to touchscreen functionality, this monitor features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 5 ms response time, all within an edge-lit LED backlit LCD display. Installation is simple as the PXL2430MW comes equipped with D-Sub, DVI-D, HDMI, and USB inputs, making this monitor compatible with a variety of computer configurations. If that’s not enough, the display can also be viewed from the included stand or mounted to the wall using a VESA compatible wall mount for optimal viewing.

It looks good, but I bought it as a second touch monitor for my Surface pro and the touchscreen doesn’t work, not sure if I need ALL the cables plugged in or not (rather than just the HDMI/mini-Display port cable). The set up guide says to plug in all the cables–which seemed odd–but the surface Pro only has the mini display port.

My son recently had to change from in-person to virtual piano lessons. Part of the lessons includes engaging with the teacher using annotations and virtual whiteboards. This monitor was perfect. I took an old Microsoft Surface, upgraded it to Windows 10, and connected the monitor’s HDMI and USB into it. It worked out of the box perfectly.

I work remotely and travel often. I have been lugging a standard monitor with me until now. I didn’t purchase this monitor for the touch screen but the portability. While it is heavier than standard monitors, it is a tank and works great. I even put it in my checked luggage (with styrofoam packing from box) and it made it across the country and back with no damage. I highly recommend this monitor for any person who needs a dual monitor that is portable and for anyone else, it would serve many purposes. Love it!
