With an edge-to-edge glass surface and support up to 10 touch points, the PCT2485 24″ 16:9 Multi-Touch LCD Monitor from Planar Systems offers an intuitive touchscreen experience. In addition to a capacitive multi-touch display, this monitor features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, allowing viewers to see the display from virtually any angle. Video inputs include a VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs, making it easy to plug the monitor into a variety of computer configurations, while the built-in stand allows you to prop up the display or fold the stand away and use it in a flat orientation.

The screen on this is glass, which is what we wanted. We were very concerned about daily usage and rubbing out an area of the screen that will be used all day over and over, and the glass keeps that from happing along with those that poke the screen too hard. Being able to use it wearing gloves or with a styles is also a plus. Because its glass, we do clean it often to clear finger smudges, but we can live with that. Remember that Win7 doesn’t support multi-touch, and Win10 does ASSUMING that the app your using does as well. We are using this with Blackmagic Design ATEM software and the software doesn’t seem to support multitouch, even though windows does.
