I request this headset for professional use. My expectation was big considering I’m moving from a Black Wire C3220 to the B825-M. Since day 1, I got complains about my voice breaking or poor sound quality. Most of the time I’m able to hear all other parties. Switching to my old device (C3220), people stop complaining. In day 3 I called Customer Service (Nov/9/2021 Case number 33852044). I spend more than 2hrs testing according support instruction. At the end I was asked to return Headset to Distributor and request a new one. I got a New B825-M set before Thanksgiving. I started using it Nov/29. Guess what? Same problem! Today is Day 3 and people still complaining that my voice is breaking or just fading the lasts words of a sentence or like a robot sound. In other words, same problem as 1st headset. This problem is “intermittent” but I will say that this problem is on more that 50% of my calls / meetings. System: Win10 / Teams / Teams Softphone.

I was provided the headset during another business purchase as a review sample. I opted to hold out on a review until I gave it thorough testing. During the work from home period these have been pleasant to use. They are durable, produce clear call quality, block out unwanted noise, and connect to any device I use so far. The mic blocks out a fair bit of noise as well which makes for better communication if you have pets, children, etc.. The notifications about mute/unmute can sometimes be annoying (there’s a bit of a delay if first powering them up due to this too) using software to mute/unmute is preferred to avoid the notifications for that.

I am a Plantronics Employee (since 2013) but even so, I couldn’t be happier with this headset – and I can be quite opinionated. 🙂 It’s comfortable with outstanding audio quality and makes the transition between Computer to phone so nicely.

I bought this headset for work about 5 months ago and have used it for hours every day since. It is one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever used, and I have been through many. The ear pads are pillow soft and it does not squeeze on your head too much. The sound quality is far more than I needed for work but it is nice that I can use it for listening to music between calls without the music sounding horrible. I can not recommend this headset enough.

Love these headphones. Sound quality and noise cancelling feature is excellent.

I’ve tried a number of corded and wireless headsets over the years as I work at a videoconferencing company. The Focus is the best ever: superb audio, very high manufacturing quality, extremely comfortable during prolonged use, very convenient charging base. The ability to hear ambient sound through the mic when in listening-only mode is also great. Using a single headset for both phone and computer use is super convenient.

It’s great in utility, but very uncomfortable to wear for long. I’m on the fence about returning it. If they fixed the ear pads, I’d be inclined to make this a 4 star review. I wouldn’t say the range is anywhere near as claimed from my experience. It starts to get choppy at about 25 or 30 feet which is a far cry from the advertised 98 feet. The audio is OK, but it doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as any of my other headsets. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds good enough for its utility – work. It’s also good enough to listen to music between calls and meetings, but not exactly what I’d call satisfying for any audiophile like myself. I’m very disappointed in the comfort. The ear pieces seem designed more for a large man’s big ears where the foam goes more around than ON my ears as it should. They partly rest on my jaws whoch is uncomfortable as well. The foam is very weak with too much give so I end up feeling hard plastic pressing on my ear cartilage which is pretty painful. I don’t see what the point of 12 or 14 hour battery life is if you can’t wear the headset very long. These get hot too.

Sounds very good for calls and music. Very impressed by the active noise cancelling.

This is a great headset. I like that it will auto-answer a Skype for Business call. It is very easy to dock for charging. It’s light weight, and I can wear it for a long time without my ears being sore. The controls from the headset, mute, hangup, volume control are very easy to access. The only dis-advantage is that I still need the USB dongle, not sure why they could not build that into the charging station.

We use this headset in our business. We now have 4 of them and plan on adding more as needed. They keep the office sounds away from your conversation when you need to hear the customer. They last quite a while. We use them for about 50 hours a week and they seem to have been lasting more than a year before needing replacement. We do wear them out.

I am not a tech person, and found the set up of this headphone and mic really simple.

The Voyager Focus has been awesome for my extended remote working stints, the battery life, sound quality and background noise reduction on the microphone have been critical. To the extent that I was working in a coffee shop in Burlington, VT when a very loud tour group came in and say at the table in front of me. My coworkers had no idea what I was talking about when I apologized for the noise. I’ve been a Plantronics fan for years, but this is the best product from them I’ve ever used.

I’ve heard people say they will never trust a Bluetooth headset, so I was a little worried after sinking some significant money into this, but it has only disconnected in the middle of a call twice. (And reconnecting to the laptop took about 3 seconds.) The noise cancellation is phenomenal. I take to take a meeting from a busy and loud airport and I was told that nobody could hear any background noise. THAT’S a pretty remarkable testament!

Upfront: nothing was given to me for this review. I used this headset for about a year. I built a new data center and was constantly in a high noise environment. I attended remote meetings in a high noise/high heat environment as well as listened to music via Bluetooth for 6 hours a day. The sound quality is remarkable, the device build quality was the best I’ve ever seen to date and the sound cancellation was excellent. Comfort wise, for a guy with sensitive ears, the pads were very gentle and the suspension pad made these comfortable to wear all day long.

This headset has proven to be everything i thought it would be and more. Super comfortable and adjusts to anyone’s head/ears. Great range, I can walk anywhere in my house and no signal drop on call or playing music.Call quality is top notch, and others say they have no issue hearing me. After allowing the headphones to “burn in” music is sounding very good. Lots of bass. The “Active Noise Cancellation” does work a little bit. Not nearly as good as the BOSE headphones, but after using these on an airplane the ANC button does help quite a lot! Not needing to bring the docking station with me on work trips was a key point for me. Battery life is phenomenal, at least 2 full days of calls and music before needing to charge.

Good morning, I can not either make calls or receive calls with mine. How can you help me with that issue please?

I’ve bought this one with the hope to use it for Skype. Well, it works. But not always. Controls do not work properly and it keeps muting my mic whenever it wants. I disabled sensors but it still doing that. Bottom line – another junk.

I’ve had this headset for a couple weeks… so far, audio quality is fine, comfort is OK… but the voice prompts when I mute the headset during a call are more than annoying, and can’t be turned off according to support… subsequently I found a similar review from a while ago – had I known this I wouldn’t have requested this headset.

I received the Focus noise cancelling headset from work. Sound quality was surprisingly good. Flimsy plastic head band broke off on the side with the microphone. Neat design to have the onoffpause mechanism tied to the headband but it is what causes the weak joints that eventually broke.
