With up to 12 hours of talk time and a roaming range up to 98′, the Voyager Focus boasts a DSP (digital sound processing)-enabled triple-mic boom and active noise cancellation, allowing you to concentrate on your calls and music.
The Voyager Focus headset features voice alerts that announce caller ID, connection status, and talk time, while a dynamic mute alert warns you if you try to talk while the headset is muted. With built-in smart sensors, the headset can detect when you take it off and automatically mute your call or pause your music. Optimized for use with Microsoft unified communications apps, this version of the Voyager Focus includes a magnetic charging stand and a USB Type-A Bluetooth adapter with a mute status indicator.

I review and plan for future headset use within my company and after reading the different comments about this, I wasn’t sure what I was letting myself into by obtaining a pair of these. However, having tried them out and adjusting the setting of the headset via the Hub software I found this to be an amazing device. The sound quality when on a call is great and the fact they block out local sounds ensures that you can concentrate on your call without unnecessary interruptions.

The headset is great for the office and I specially like the smart sensor and the good call quality. The headset is also good for music, but not as good as for example Beoplay H7. The one thing I really dislike is that I can only have 2 devices connected at the same time, and the PC connection counts as one connection. That means it can only connect to the PC and one mobile, not two as my need is.

Going on three months using the Voyager Focus and I could not be happier. It has completely changed how I take calls and enhanced my work experience. I can confidently take calls anywhere and sound like I am in a secluded office. I also use the headset throughout the day to listen to all genres of music. Sound quality is superb. The interoperability across my different devices and software applications has also been outstanding. Once set up, switching between computers, phones, and applications is mostly seamless. Battery life and charge time has also been excellent.

This otherwise excellent device is marred by an in ability to turn off voice prompts indicating mute on or off, power on-off, battery high, etc. You also don’t seem to be able to regulate the volume of the prompts. Over time it is irritating, especially if you turn the device on-off frequently or actively use the mute feature during calls. A careless/foolish oversight by the designers, especially since I see other models have had the capacity to control this. There are references to this annoyance over time in the review thread so it doesn’t look like a feature that will be taken seriously or fixed. It is irritating enough that I would not buy another. I find I am using my Jabra Evolve headset more to avoid the annoyance. Apart from this voice prompt issue, a great device with good range, clarity. To improve range, I put the Bluetooth dongle on the end of a long USB 3 cable to get it away from other Bluetooth dongles-helped a lot.

I have been searching for a wireless headset that is Five 9 Compatible. I tried and returned at least 4 Bluetooth headsets that said they would work and then didn’t. Then I found this one, at a fabulous price. It works great, Plug N Play with Windows 10, my five 9 recognized it immediately, now I’m not tied to my desk. Thank you so much Plantronics. I’ve used your Bluetooth for my mobile phones for years, now you are on my desktop and laptop too.

I have limited hearing on my left ear and this new Plantronics headset has a very low volume compare to my WO2 version. I double checked all the setting in the OS and still no luck.

The sound quality and battery life are good, but the supplied bluetooth adapter creates rather loud pops and clicks. Have latest firmware, tried different USB ports, etc. Removed it and used laptop’s built-in bluetooth and clicking is gone. Put the supplied adapter in a drawer if you think you might need it for a bluetoothless system and are desperate, or just chuck it.

Using this in a very noisy, busy office area, the noise canceling is the best I have heard. I can work on projects without being distracted by background noise at all. The ANC switch makes it easy to monitor what’s going on if I want. Headset, although larger, is comfortable and easily adjustable. Voices are very clear, no static, and great for conference calls. Controls are positioned well on the headset and easy to use and I love that I can use it for communications on my laptop and cell phone at the same time. Excellent headset, wished I’d had this months ago!

I received it this month. The sound quality, ease of set up and range of features are excellent. I like the compactness for travelling. I also like the ANC feature. I haven’t tried the Focus on an airplane yet. This is my first wireless headset and I’m enjoying the freedom of no wires.

Even the cheapest headset is better. Difficult to handle and difficult to find support and manual. You can’t go more than 2 m from the computer if you will stay connected. this is the worst buy of my life!!!

A company I work for is highly virtualized and feeling comfortable during meetings is very important. I was not very fond with the company-issued headset so when one of my coworkers got this one I asked to try and fell in love with it. The best part is quality – from physical touch on your ears – and I wear glasses, those people, who also do should understand what I’m talking about,- to the voice quality, to ergonomics. So far I can’t even think of anything that I don’t like.

I’ve had this headset for a few months for our UC campaign. I’m impressed with the earphone comfort and the noise cancelling. I can wear these all day. The weak point on this headset is the plastics just above the ear phones. The plastic is very thin and breaks all the time. I have to super glue it together in order to make adjustments.

I’ve been using these for about two years at work and on freetime. Sound is clear, bass booms, and my colleagues hear me well. I can move around the house or garage freely and far. Connect quickly, both to computer and my mobile phone. Easy to mute and unmute. Also less need to wear earplugs thanks to noice cancelling when kids are home and I’m trying to concentrate 🙂 Great battery life, and durable/flexible enough to fit into laptop bag or my backbag, have not broken.
