The Plantronic Blackwire 5210 USB Type-C Mono Headset gives you the freedom of hearing everything around you, but still being able to take a call at a moment’s notice. This headset features both 3.5mm and USB Type-C connectivity options, so you can use it with a variety of computers and mobile devices. Just disconnect the removable inline control to switch between USB and 3.5mm audio.
You can use the Blackwire 5210 headset for as long as you need to, even on busy work days. The contoured support on the right side, and the leatherette ear cushion on the left, are designed to make wearing the Blackwire a comfortable experience. If that busy day is filled with important business calls, the noise-canceling flexible boom microphone will work to keep them sounding professional, as nearby talkers and ambient noise is masked for maximum privacy and clarity.

This is excellent for those who work at home and have kids. It does a great job blocking out the background noise. The problem I have encountered is that the microphone is very inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I connected my blackwire 5200 series to my HP all in one Window 10 (USB A port). The headset was recognized (make and model number) but does NOT work. Another headset was recognized as a generic USB head set and worked at once.

My headset is recognized as the mono version when it is the stereo one. The audio quality lacks a lot because of that, can’t properly work without the stereo sound. Tried installing the hub app but it still didn’t work. I don’t know what to do… PS. the headset works stereo if connected directly to the 3.5 port on the pc. It seems like it’s a hub problem.

This is comfortable, with great sound quality (important because I listen to music via my computer, and I’m a fan of baroque and early music, where clarity really matters). It filters out background noise pretty well, but not so well that I can’t hear the doorbell!
