Take your conference calls on the go with the Calisto 7200 Speakerphone from Plantronics. This portable speakerphone supports both PC and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and allows up to 6 people to join in on conference calls, thanks to the four built-in speakers offering full 360° coverage. Furthermore, this speakerphone comes compatible with both Windows and Mac computers thanks to a USB Type-A connection, and it can be used for up to 6.5 hours before it needs to be recharged. Once configured, users can take advantage of touch-sensitive controls to answer/end, mute, and adjust the volume on either a PC or smartphone. If that’s not enough, the Calisto also supports PC wideband audio, digital signal processing, and acoustic echo cancellation, all designed to provide clear call quality so everyone can be heard.

I’ve had the Calisto 7200 for about 2 weeks and I’ve been using it everyday for calls with my Team & Customers. The sound quality is outstanding. I like to walk when I talk and walking around my office there was never a complaint from the poeple on the other end about being able to hear me. The battery life is great and it integrates flawlessly with the PLT HUB app on my MAC to monitor the device for firmware updates. I will be traveling with it this week so i’m excited to see how it works with a room of people and how it picks up the others talking. But so far my personal experience is amazing. Its been so nice not needing to hold my phone or wear my bluetooth headset while on long calls.

This speakerphone works well in general — sound quality is good, microphone array picks up speech, noise seems to be filtered out, no echo. One problem that I have noticed is probably common for most speakerphones — while the speaker is producing loud enough sound, microphone input is distorted. So the person on the other end of the link may poorly hear you interrupting him or making some short response if it happens at the unlucky moment. I did not have an opportunity to test this situation extensively with real calls, so when I noticed it, I reproduced it locally, playing and recording speech at the same time. It seems that it tries to do the right thing — microphone does pick up sound perfectly when it happens between words. However it’s not a perfect duplex like one provided by a headset.

it seems to be working well and have the quality of those large Polycom speakerphones that you see on conference room tables. Clear sound and a heft to it.

I received this about a month ago. It is wonderful to be able to use this speaker system for conference calls vs. my phone. The call and mute buttons are easily accessible, and make it a breeze to toggle from mute/unmute during business calls. The speaker system easily allows one to accept calls when listening to music. Furthermore, the Calisto 7200 is portable, and has a very nice carrying case.

I am a telecommuter and am glad I bought this one. I have many conference calls and needed something reliable. It’s a little more expensive than other USB speakerphones but it’s worth it because it has that great conference call phone voice quality you’d expect from Polycom technology. It seamlessly works with Skype on my business laptop. I love the simplicity of the device too. This is connected via USB to my work laptop and via Bluetooth to my cell phone.
