Enjoy your tunes and answer calls without wires with the Voyager 8200 UC Bluetooth Headset from Plantronics. Boasting up to 20 hours of talk time, 24 hours of listening time, and up to 98′ of wireless range from supported Bluetooth Class 1 devices, the black over-ear Voyager 8200 headset comes with a compact USB Type-A Bluetooth adapter for connecting to your Mac or Windows PC. An indicator on the adapter lights up when the headset is muted.
Equipped with four internal dual-paired microphones, the boom-less Voyager 8200 features a two-level active noise-cancellation mode that lets you choose how much ambient noise you want to hear. The Voyager’s smart sensors are designed to detect whether you’re wearing the headset, ideal for automatically playing and pausing music or answering calls. A dynamic mute alert warns you when you’re talking while the headset is muted. Certified for Skype for Business and optimized for Microsoft Lync, the Voyager 8200 supports unified communication applications and softphones from Avaya, Cisco, Skype, and others.

I purchased this product recently. The microphone quality is incredibly poor. The headset switches to my iPhone intermittently. And the return process is horrible.

Looking for an overpriced headset that has incredible glitchy/clicking sounds for both you and whomever is on the other end of your Zoom call? Look no further! I am on my second set of the Poly Voyager 8200 UC. The first one I spent over an hour with customer support to try to rid the clicking sounds with no avail. After which they sent me a second set which turns out has the exact same issue! Great. I spoke with a co-worker who had the exact same headset and he had the exact same issue. Just to be safe, I also tested both headsets on 3, yes 3, separate computers, all different brands, and same issue on all. I promise you this is not user error, unless customer support is trying to mess with me. In conclusion, is this headset an overpriced piece of garbage? Should you just stick with your much cheaper, much more reliable old headset? I’ll let you decide.

I have this connected to my phone and PC and they are always randomly switching between device. If i first turn them on, they will not recognize my PC until i discover them from the Bluetooth menu. They also randomly put you on mute while on a teams conference call, even when speaking. Please dont use your personal money to buy this headphone.

I use these headphones for all of my meetings. I have had them almost 3 years. The quality is great for sound, but the mic doesn’t always pick my voice up for others, the noise cancelling doesn’t work well at all and now the fabric on the cups are coming apart at the seams where the black and red fabric meet to expose the foam underneath. The black part is also starting to flake as well. It doesn’t appear the cups can be replaced, but I could be wrong about that. These were extremely expensive headphones that worked over my hearing aids and the only brand compatible with the phone system at work.

My 8200 headset is splitting and tearing on both ear pads, at times leaving a messy black flakey residue on my cheeks. I have read the reviews and this is a common issue. Do you have replacements pads? I am a fan of your products with the 5200, 6200 and 8200 (enjoy all of them). Thank you in advance.

This headset was gifted to me by my company, and I couldn’t be happier. The sound quality is amazing, as well as the noise cancelling. There are so many features that make this a great headset, and the packaging was wonderful.
