   I’m a 911 dispatcher and this was the first headset I was ever issued at work. After 7 years of almost daily use I needed another one. My department was no longer able to order them because it was discontinued thru the company they order from so I purchased this one out of my own pocket. It’s a great headset! Great quality and fast shipping! Thank you!

   Have had this headset for a year or two now. It is comfortable to wear but the sound quality is not the best. Sounds very tinny and the voice tube picks up a bunch of background noise. Would not recommend this headset if you work in a loud comm center.

   I use this headset in a call center and it is so lightweight I don’t notice I have it on even after 10 hr shifts. I have been working in the telecommunications industry for 27 years and I can say this is my favorite. At each job I have had over the years I have always brought my own headset with me since most businesses do not provide StarSets. My older StarSet had a heavier connect cord and was always in the way, this model has a lighter cord and it doesn’t kink up like the last one I had. I would recommend this model to anyone who spends a lot of time on calls. This is the next best thing to being cordless.

   I have used the Plantronics StarSet H31CD Headset for over 33 years as a 911 dispatcher. Obviously, I love this model. It is lightweight, very comfortable, and has good incoming and outgoing sound quality. I would highly recommend you purchase the extended warranty on it, though. I’ve had several of these headsets last for years, but my last one stopped working right at about 1 year. The extended warranty I purchased on it was well worth the price, as I got a refund on my full purchase price, and put that towards purchasing another one (for which I also purchased another extended warranty).

   I work as a technical director for live production. When we have to do remote shows (COVID era) we’re using bluejeans or phone calls to communicate during the show. It has a warm, analogue, slightly fuzzy sound and is very good at communicating voice (not room reflections/background noises). This beautiful headset paired with the 3.5mm adapter has made my life so much better, and so much cooler. Me and Gene Kranz are wearing the same headset.

   Easily the best headset for critical listening. Lightweight but also doesn’t completely block out your ear like other regular headsets. Been using these for over 15 years.
