The CT14 DECT 6.0 Cordless Headset Phone from Plantronics features DECT 6.0 (1.9 GHz) wireless technology for better reception at greater distances. With this Plantronics Cordless Headset Phone you can take your call with you up to 300 feet away from the charging base and talk for up to 10 hours at a time.
You also benefit from noise-canceling technology to help filter out background noise allowing you to talk in noisy environments. Simply clip the dial pad onto your clothing with the integrated clip and then position the headset over your head or on your ear for improved comfort for those longer phone calls.

I use this phone for business calls. Each time I use it people remark that they can’t hear me loudly enough (doesn’t happen with other phones). Also, dialing is a real problem. The tiny buttons make it difficult to dial and I’ve given up on it.

Recently, I’ve noticed that my neck hurts when I try to hold a telephone between my ear and shoulder. This telephone/headset fixes that problem. The only design issue I have is that the phone unit is difficult to snatch out of the cradle quickly. I missed one phone call because I accidentally grabbed the headset cord and it yanked out of the phone unit. By the time I got the phone unit out of its base and its headset plugged back in, my call had gone to voicemail. Oh well. It’s a minor inconvenience. I’ll probably keep a shoelace loop on the phone unit.

I am on the phone for up to 12 hours a day and this phone is an absolute workhorse, they last and last, are durable, the clip leaves something to be desired as had the headset, which in a two year span I have replaced about a dozen time and each of those replacements I have had to have replaced. However, I have been told now after being told for two years that there is a new replacement headset and I am over the moon, I can’t wait to get it and fall in love with my phone all over again!

Have used Plantronics CT series for over 10 years. Excellent sound quality. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for 2 consistent problems: Headset and battery lifespan. Plantronics had lots of time to fix these issues and has not. However, still better than other products.
