   I’ve had the CT-14 for at least 15 years and it works fantastic. I like everything about it. I experienced the issue where the cord plugs into the phone but it was due to abuse by one of my kids not because of a design flaw. This is a small compact unit and should be handled with care. I either put it in my shirt pocket or clipped it to my belt and when it rang it was very easy to answer. I finally wore the phone out due to age. The only reason I don’t have one now is I became disabled and cannot afford the phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone

   I work from home 3 days a week and cannot live without this portable phone. It allows great freedom and I can be outside the house in the yard and still get great reception (base is on 2nd floor).

   With my home-based office, I’ve been a Plantronics user for over 30 years. In that time I have owned at least two different models of Plantronics headset phones. Plantronics makes good telephone gear. I presently have three Plantronics wireless headset phones in my house; two for me and one for my wife. Even so, they don’t interfere with each other. Being able to have both hands free while I’m talking is absolutely necessary with the work I do. The headsets do wear out after three years and need to be replaced, but the unit itself is sturdy and the battery life is quite good. I’ve had 90 minute conversations followed by 60 minute conversations and still had battery life for more.

   Love this phone and am happy that I can replace the battery on it. Have been using this phone and the ones prior to this version for over 10 years and haven’t found a better portable for my needs.

   I am ordering my 3rd phone. I answer the phones for a company w/60 employees. I can transfer calls and do anything I need to do while walking around our facility. I’ve been very happy with this phone.

   I have had this phone less than 1 year and in addition to connection drops where the display shuts off and then restarts while you are on a call, puts the call on hold and then finally allows you to unhold and try to salvage your phone call, it has altogether died as of today. I had the connection drop and restart happen on several very important phone calls and it was quite embarrassing as it happened 2 or 3 times in sequence. The concept & design is good but the product itself is seems cheaply engineered. The headset unplugs very easily from it’s base which happens while you are on calls and is very annoying. The clip is not good and keeps the phone snug only if you are wearing jeans…otherwise it comes undone or falls too easy. It was overall a hassle to use if you are on the phone often and get up to move around frequently.
