Purchased this a couple of weeks ago. For some reason my Plantronics Legend Bluetooth headset device doesn’t charge like it should. I’m a little bit frustrated.

Should had came with the Voyager Legend. Regardless it works great because they fixed the original short cable length and commonly used cable to be used to charge the headset. And the magnet seems to be stronger than original boxed cable. The only concern is to find a way to have it on me all the time somehow. I usually put it on my keychain in case I use someone’s usb cable. If you still plan to use your Voyager Legend, this one is a must and isn’t too expensive.

I use it in the car in case the headset runs low. Nice long cable works great. Use the short charger cable with strip at home.

I BOUGHT THIS TO CHARGE MY PLANTRONICS LEGEND BLUETOOTH HEADSET AND I LOVE IT!! YOU CAN CHARGE OTHER THINGS BY REMOVING THE CHARGING LEGEND END AND THE CABLE IS A LOT LONGER!! YOU CAN EVEN CHARGE IT IN THE CAR!! WHOOHOO!!

I have several of these headsets. I really like the headset and have bought several for others, however they switched to a priority charge cord. That’s a huge drawback, as I already have micro USB cords, and HATE having another cord to keep track of. The headset it self is excellent, great clarity, callers on the other end can not tell that I’m even on a headset. The battery life is also excellent. I’m disappointed that Plantronics switched from the micro USB cord to this new one. Now, I’ve lost one of those special charge cords and my headset is dead.

This 24″ version of the cable should have been supplied with the Voyager Legend at the outset; although, it should be one piece construction. The original short one is much too short. Now I can charge my Legend from my desktop computer and my car. (Yes, I had to buy a separate aftermarket automotive USB adapter too). Time will tell if the magnetic coupling feature will endure as a permanent design. In my work environment, the magnet tends to attract small metallic bits which interfere with making a correct fit for the charger adapter. It must be scrupulously clean or charging does not take place.
