The yellow Strain Reliefs from Platinum Tools are designed to be crimped with your EZ-RJ45 CAT6 connectors to meet Category 6 requirements. Each of the fifty pieces will not pull off the connectors once terminated and is compatible with cables having a maximum diameter of 0.235″. The relief optimizes the electrical performance of the termination by maintaining the bend radius of the cable exiting from the rear of the connector. Furthermore, you may also use these reliefs with standard RJ45 modular plugs.

Overall product is Good however, but it is NOT 6A shielded cable usable. Opening diameter too small and cannot accommodate aluminum RJ45 connector. Best uses for PATCH CABLE applications.

I bought these (and the blue ones) to color code my cables. Be sure to line the detent with the relase clip when inserting it into the jack

These little beauties make your homemade patch cables look and act like factory made. Glad I found them. I will buy more as needed. Just remember to place them on the wire first thing prior to jacket removal. And dont forget to insert them into the body before crimping. Duh!!!!
