The black Playseat Evolution Alcantara Gaming Seat provides an immersive driving simulation in your living room. The Evolution is a real car seat covered with black alcantara and supported by a strong black steel structure.
The steering wheel support is compatible with most of the hardware in the market and the system for mounting the pedals completes the Playseat Evolution Alcantara. The adjustment system allow all drivers, young and old, to customize the cockpit in order to easily find their ideal driving position.

It isn’t perfect but at this point no sim rig is at this price point. It does exactly what it needs too, whether that be a more immersive game experience or a comfortable chair to just game in when not playing automotive related games. The alcantara was better quality than expected. To make it fully solid, tack weld a few spots and it won’t budge even a mm. Plan on doing this soon. For the price point, this is all most automotive enthusiasts will ever really need other than a fun car in the garage.

The product is well made, but if you use the same foot for acceleration and brakes, you will have to go through some adjustment period. The center of the frame comes in the way of your foot movement, so keep that in mind before you buy.

I love my playseat evolution. Now I can race for extended periods of time without any back pain and the wheel is steady being mounted. Only 2 cons in my opinion is that the pedal mounting plate has a significant amount of give when braking (which I fixed by using zip ties from the back of my T3PA Pros and fixing them to the holes in the center bar of the playseat. The second con is there’s no way to mount a button box if you have a larger one. You could have a piece made for this but there just isn’t a lot of room on the wheel mounting plate once the wheel is on. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product and my buying experience from BHP. This is the second time I’ve purchased from them and I will continue to use them.

Im 205 pounds (93kg) and this seat doesnt seem to be impress at all. Very solid and comfortable. I strongly recommend getting the rails (sliders) to adjust the seat, very useful when people come over.

Definitely go with the alcantara very nice material with the little leather accents instructions are very forward and easy to follow to put the chair together easy setup once you get your wheels and pedals on and plenty of extra pieces just in case of any broken screws to wear. Also includes zip ties so you can have cable management for your wheel and pedals which was very nice and extra velcro for the chair just in case anything starts to wear. Overall an amazing chair five stars in my book. The only thing I would say would be more padding on the back lower back other than that the chair is amazing.

The positive – Everything was straight forward enough to assemble and my wheel (G920) and pedals mounted up w/out issue. I am using it, and it’s for sure an upgrade from using my desk. The Negative – For the price point (over $400 shipped) the seat is pretty cheap, and the pedal mount flexes every time you hit the brakes. I for sure enjoy the seat, but expected more of a premium product for the price.
