This was a bargain price when I got it–$110 for 32GB of RAM? I remember spending $500 for 4MB back in 1995. I also walked uphill to school through the snow back then. Both ways. The heat sinks do make the ram tall and I’ve had some trouble with cooler clearance, and it’s actually DDR-2666 ram that has to have XMP enabled to run a 3200. Other than that it’s great.

RAM is not natively 3200mhz, and on less powerful motherboards they don’t consistently boot. This is especially bad if you run a setup with less RAM compatability. I use a ryzen 5000 series CPU on a B450 chipset mobo (which is a disaster itself), and with this ram it will only boot on XMP1-2933 mhz at best. The value is amazing, but might take some tinkering to get it running the box speed steadily.

Its hard to find tight timings without paying a premium… this ram does that. I did have to manually set, but that’s normal.
