I can not read this drive on either a windows 7 or Mac OS X computer. I have tried several computers and on a windows 7 machine it recognizes it and then says its ready, but it does not appear. May have to return for refund/replacement.

A very nice compact flash drive. Appears to be ruggedly built. Cover extends over the port, but does not completely seal it off. Cover slides back on the body so there isn’t something to lose.

What I can say about it, fast! Of course buying from BandH is always a deal on it’s own.

No complaints – this is fast and the very large capacity means I only have to carry one flash drive with me. It is like having a mini hard drive at all times – no matter which computer I’m sat at

There’s a reason that a 256 GB Flash Drive is this cheap. Sliding Collar got stuck most of the time. Speed is nowhere near advertised. Max at about 50 MG, whereas my Kingston Flash Drives get about 20 MG. Even worse, half the time you plug it in, it doesn’t light up. It finally stopped working after several months.

Lots of storage

Received it in a package that was bent and torn. The thumbdrive is very hard to open and close, in terms of the slider. You have to put a lot of effort into sliding the plastic cap. Also, whenever I use it, it heats up so much that you could probably burn yourself with it. I’ve tried it on several computers; all the same. Pretty disappointed with it, unfortunately. I hope that, at least, it lasts for a while before melting.

Very fast compact quiet and portable.

This is a ton of storage packed in a very small and dependable device. Everyone should have a couple of these flash drives for use as a media drive, backups, etc. Great product!

Fastest transfer rates I have seen on a thumb drive. Great!

This Flash drive is so practical, easy to use, resist the use very well, very easy to transport them and a lot of space to use on it.

I have other PNY flashdrives that work fine. This one didn’t. I was planning to use it to copy things from my Microsoft Surface Pro as a backup. I have less than 64gb to backup. It recognized the drive right away and from there on everything went wrong. It started to copy and then just seemed like it had stopped as the indicator line showed no movement. It did let me stop copying and then when I tried to again the computer no longer recognized the drive. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro and it also was as if it wasn’t there. Bummer. I had to return it and got a refund because I was too nervous to want a replacement as I was using it for a backup. Made me decide a flashdrive wasn’t reliable enough for that.

Very useful for business and personal file transfers.

Pros: Much faster than my USB2.0 drives. Cons: I don’t get the slider; it covers the outside of the USB, which is non-connective, but dust and pocket lint can still get inside where the actual connectors are.

Amazing speeds and huge size, for a tiny little box. It looks a bit cheap in person, but does the job 100% as you’d hope.
