I use the PNY 128gb Turbo 3.0 flash drive to back up my extensive photo work and also my video’s. Being USB 3 it’s much faster and the size (physical size) of the drive is ideal for for storage. Doesn’t take up space and easy to bring along if need be to show work on it. A HDD I had for backup failed and I lost tons of images. I still use a HDD but this gives me an extra margin of safety. This makes 3 now for storage. Couldn’t be happier or more at ease.

I purchased four of these two years ago, specifically to back up digital images while traveling in Africa. I use them only a few times per year, but all four are still in good shape and continue to work after two years of intermittent use. Especially if you can get them on sale, combining them with an OTG or wireless hub makes for a relatively inexpensive (and small) system to back up digital images.

Fast and does it what it needs to. I like that it is an all-contained product with no cap to misplace.

I am using this as the primary storage for my base-model MacBook Air. Not only is it fast enough to provide the speed I need and be compatible with my speedy ultraportable, I can immediately access my projects and other data on up to four computers I use daily, bypassing absurd IT security restrictions that prohibit usage of cloud storage. Availability of this device negated the need for a larger SSD in my laptop, allowing me to take advantage of another screaming’ deal from B&h – a heavy discount on the base MacBook Air (which I love).

Pros: Much faster than my USB2.0 drives. Cons: I don’t get the slider; it covers the outside of the USB, which is non-connective, but dust and pocket lint can still get inside where the actual connectors are.

This is an amazing deal. Pros: Small size but with giant capacity There is a LED light No cover to lose, its a slider cover where the cover slides down to protect the usb adapter USB 3.0 / 128GB at a great price Bench test on a MacBook Pro: 80MB/s write 192MB/s read Cons: Nothing to me. Tested on HP with Windows 10 – MacBook Pro OS X El Capitan and on a Dell 11 Chromebook

First thing I did was to fill drive. It is 256GB. I am a computer Tech, so it is being used as a sub-miniature hard drive. Being that is a USB 3, it is super fast. And best of all being that is was sold by B&H at a great price, this makes it the icing on the cake. Great price, great product. Keep up the good work to all you folks at B&H. You all are an incredible team. Thank you

I can not read this drive on either a windows 7 or Mac OS X computer. I have tried several computers and on a windows 7 machine it recognizes it and then says its ready, but it does not appear. May have to return for refund/replacement.

As always good quality from B & H. These were purchased for a training class and stored into with room to spare.

Extremely good price for 128 GB flash drive with USB 3.0. Works perfectly fine with my Macbook and Smart TV, and it could be easily reformatted to NTFS if needed. Super fast file copying via 3.0 from SSD of my mac compared with my old 2.0 USB flash drive. What i dislike is plastic body of the drive. This plastic is so cheapish! Espesially silver part. Ugh! Don’t even think of neat look if you’re going to keep it somewhere in your bag with keys, pens, books, etc. Sliding cap feels flimsy. I think it will break in a few months if using frequently. Also, this product has only one year warranty, which looks kind of suspicious. I’ve seen 5 and 10-year warranty on a similar flash products, but, you know, just sayin’. I recommend this product if you need much storage and your budget is limited. However, if you’re fine with 64, 32 GB or even less, and if you’re searching for something beautiful, sleek and metal, you can skip this PNY drive in a heartbeat.

I had to upgrade my laptop from HDD to SSD, and that left me with a huge storage problem. I bought two of these and maxed them out with 300 Steam games, and so far, all of them have worked fine! If you’re in need of some extra space, this is a good buy. One thing to note: Windows automatically hibernates thumb drives by default, but it’s easy to fix with a web search.
