As with most flash drives it is essential that the USB connector remains protected to keep your data safe. This flash drives comes equipped with a sliding collar allowing you to extend the cover when not in use to keep the USB connector from becoming damaged. You can also take this flash drive with you on the go with an integrated key ring loop.

Over period of years Ive stuck with PNY. Yes have tried others and occasionally get a fail. This particular PNY batch is super prime, have some older identical and are somewhat slower.(no fails) This is the fastest read/write usb3 flash ever. I purchased from BH because recently found fakes on ebay. Someone recommended BH because they historically are flash experts.

So I shot this music video on a RED Camera in 4K and I backed up all my files to Blu-Ray data and a traditional hard drive. Now when it came time to edit I used AVID (MAC or PC) and this Flash drive. It was two 64 gig RED mags for data and I stored it for editing purpose on this flash drive. Its a USB3 and its very fast.I formatted it for PC and in AVID using AMA I was able to edit 4K right off the FLASH DRIVE. No stuttering and worked perfectly. I I highly recommend this it really worked for me. It was just as fast as my SSD. Had to set AVID video playback at best performance. Worked just as well in AdobeP. This is a great alternative to SSD in a small package. Yes some SSD give you better performance but this flash was able to handle the RED4K files directly with no problem. Yes I will buy two more next time.Next test will be the BlackMagic URSA camera files yes I said URSA

The flash drive loaded all of the info that I needed. It worked very well on my CPU that had a USB 3 port, but took a little longer to load on my CPU that only had a USB2 port–but it did work.

Extremely good price for 128 GB flash drive with USB 3.0. Works perfectly fine with my Macbook and Smart TV, and it could be easily reformatted to NTFS if needed. Super fast file copying via 3.0 from SSD of my mac compared with my old 2.0 USB flash drive. What i dislike is plastic body of the drive. This plastic is so cheapish! Espesially silver part. Ugh! Don’t even think of neat look if you’re going to keep it somewhere in your bag with keys, pens, books, etc. Sliding cap feels flimsy. I think it will break in a few months if using frequently. Also, this product has only one year warranty, which looks kind of suspicious. I’ve seen 5 and 10-year warranty on a similar flash products, but, you know, just sayin’. I recommend this product if you need much storage and your budget is limited. However, if you’re fine with 64, 32 GB or even less, and if you’re searching for something beautiful, sleek and metal, you can skip this PNY drive in a heartbeat.

be sure to Format the drive to NTFS, otherwise this will seem very slow! Right click, Format! Speed is good but depends on the computer / laptop you are using. Works better with faster computers it seems. Overall a very good product, especially for the size/price ratio.

This is a great size stick to have with you in the gear bag, with the size of photos, and now videos being shot, grabbing a stick to copy them to another PC or MAC comes in handy, and with the USB 3.0 it’s fast. Never leave home without one.
