   I bought two of these to use on two Porter-Cable 890 routers with my Omnijig dove tail jig to hold the collars. They match perfectly and since they attach with flat head screws, they automatically center themselves on the router base. Just attach and go. Wish they were clear, otherwise they’re perfect.

   I bought this base as a template to make a base for my Craftsman router that I will use on my new Porter Cable dovetail jig. I could not find anywhere a base that would fit any of my routers for the jig. I have four routers (Craftsmen and Bosch) I don’t want to buy another one, so I got this base to use to make one for my Craftsman router. With a little finagling around because the base is not the exact same size as my other router bases, I was able to make a copy of the base out of plexiglass and it works great. The Porter cable base above is a great base but not for my routers.

    Great fit on my Porter Cable router. I used a centering cone to install it but it did not seem necessary. There was little play in the screw holes. This base works with PC templates.

    the base itself is great however the screw supplied are beveled at the head rather than flat bottomed. As a result they were too long to tighten the base on my Porter Cable router. I used the original screws from the Porter Cable factory base.
