Had nine doors to put hinges on. Practiced on one of the doors l was getting rid of. Bought doors with handle holes and made a round plug to line up the old with the new door. Transfered the hinge location, mounted the gage and cut out the hinge pocket. Came out right 27 times.

The jig worked great but the bit went dull right after the first mortise, only used it on a door jamb didnt hit anything other than whatever these jambs are made of these days bit started burning after first mortise.
