Used for 2 weeks now. Solid plunge base, heavy duty, quality build. Easy to use and adjust once the router is clamped in place. The motor clamp on my unit was a bit finicky, had to do some light grinding to accept the motor smoothly.

The return to the “up” position sticks sporadically. Project turned out well, but somewhat annoyed that when the cut was finished and router was turned off and picked up out of the cut, pushed the lever of the lock handle and it would not return to the up position on occasion.

Indispensable. If you have a Porter-Cable 690 series router, you need this. If it seems expensive, it really isn’t, considering the precision and the functionality built into this item. There’s a good reason why it has been around, basically unchanged, for many years. Has six levels of depth stop that are easily changed while running multiple passes. The plunge lock is positioned so you can engage and release it without moving more that your left thumb.
